मध्य प्रदेश के दमोह में भैंसों को ले जा रहे तीन मुस्लिम युवकों के साथ कथित तौर पर बेरहमी से मारपीट की गई है। पीड़ितों की पहचान आबिद कुरैशी, हसन कुरैशी और हुसैन खान के रूप में हुई है।

घटना सोमवार रात हिंडोरिया थाना क्षेत्र के हरदुआ क्योलारी के पास की है। घायल हसन के मुताबिक, वे तीनों भैंसों को सागर स्थित एक गौशाला में ले जा रहे थे और उनके पास पशुओं से जुड़े दस्तावेज भी थे।

आरोप है कि कुछ लोगों ने उन्हें रोककर पिकअप से बाहर खींच लिया, रस्सियों से बांध दिया और लाठी-डंडों तथा बल्ले से पीटा। मारपीट के दौरान उन्हें "मवेशी चोर" और "गौ हत्यारे" कहा गया और कैमरे के सामने झूठे बयान देने के लिए मजबूर किया गया।

हमले में तीनों युवक घायल हो गए, जिनमें से गंभीर हालत के चलते दो को जबलपुर रेफर कर दिया गया है। पीड़ितों ने इस हमले में बजरंग दल के कार्यकर्ताओं के शामिल होने का आरोप लगाया है।
