@Villgecrazylady Melanie Phillips is particularly ev*l - look up how she inspired Anders Breivik
BTW she already asked Britain to send troops & got told No. British voters are furious about troops sent to Iraq & Afghanistan, and don't want more wars. Govt is smart enough to be scared of voters
@AaronBastani Tories have just burst back into life again in Aberdeen South!
Very hard to kill a 300-yr-old party with very deep subterranean roots in Britain.
@afneil Trump's visit to China on 13th to 15th May was to ask for rare earths.
As soon as China said No, war was over. Trump came home and announced ceasefire, so they could negotiate this deal.
@afneil The Americans have run out of weapons. China refused to export the rare earths to make more. So Trump had to surrender.
No point saying "fight on". With what? Broomsticks?
Israel fired 1st shot & bounced US into war. Never considered the supply chain. Assumed unlimited weapons
@iainmartin1 The US has lost 43 aircraft in the Iran war. Iran is winning with 1/10th of the American budget. Makes you think, doesn't it?

@thomasforth Denmark can afford to cut tax because Ozempic (a Danish product) is generating such vast global sales, corporate tax is gushing in. As a result Denmark has a huge budget surplus.
Britain has no such similar innovation products that can generate money for our Treasury.
@AaronBastani Makerfield is not Tory territory.
In the 2015 election, Labour was leading in the polls, but Cameron's approval ratings were better than Miliband's. In the privacy of the polling booth, LibDems voted Tory to keep Miliband out.
Kemi's ratings will make a difference in the south.
@AaronBastani In his summing up, the judge noted it was dark and the police couldn't see the blood on the victim's dark shirt.
I wonder if it was after 1 a.m.? Southampton City Council switches off the street lights after 1 am, unless it's a main road. So a public safety thing going on too.
@Brad_Cone@SeanTrende The Pope is of Italian ancestry - the majority of Popes in the last 2000 years had Italian ancestry. He was chosen for his Italianess not his Americaness.
@SebMilbank The key event of 1979 was not Thatcher getting elected, it was Deng Xiaoping becoming the President of China
It was impossible for the west to compete with China on manufacturing without rolling back regulations to 19thC levels. Thatcher didn't try as her voters would've baulked
@cjsnowdon@dsmitheconomics He's trying to blame small boats on brexit.
In 2017, Theresa May spent Β£15 million on a wall around the Chunnel entrance in Calais.
So migrants switched from lorries to boats. But the numbers are unchanged.
@BritainUnbound@b_judah You are arguing with a zio/epstein-classer. Like Mandelson, they like the EU because it's easier to do secret lobbying.
The Commission does not have to declare who lobbies them. God knows what Mandy got up to as trade commissioner.
@Rambaudian@maxtempers He did - stopped HS2 to Manchester. Prevented a lockdown over Omicron. Refused to cave to the doctors & train drivers double digit payrises
He didn't get any thanks. Pple voted Reform knowing it would let in Labour & claimed Lab was better!
Pple r hypocrites re min wage freeze
@GhostOfCorkey He doesn't even seem to realise that we didn't exit the single market till 31st Dec 2020 when the transition ended.
We were still in the EU in 2017/18 which is what his graph shows. Unless he's arguing the mere act of voting causes downturns and elections should be abolished...

The Commission does not have to declare who lobbies them. God knows what Mandy got up to as trade commissioner. The EU's downward path may be caused by him.
