You’ve got to go back to another decade to see any major difference. 1997 was 267.3 and 68.1%.

@ScottJeschke What people are responding to is not the saturation but the low contrast. The forest scene is evenly exposed with few deep shadows or highlights. Helmet shot has more shadow but is a dark image to begin with. Compare the dark rigging and light headwear in the boat shot.
