Truth, transparency, and spirited debate are critical to free societies. I take the small government, individual rights, and free market side of the debate.
@DreadPirate67 Painfully true. Trump allowed the media and bureaucrats to stop DOGE. Trump did not clean house in the DOJ, FBI, or intelligence agencies. The "drain the swamp" was barely a trickle. USAID took a hit, but it was not even fully defunded by Congress.
@realErikDPrince Then you can decide on the appropriate level and criteria for immigration which has a track to citizenship along with the level of work visas without a track to citizenship that support the American economy and benefit the current citizens.
@realErikDPrince Stop allowing them to be part of our society. No drivers licenses, no jobs, no loans, no banking, no housing. And back it up with charging those in GOVERNMENT or business who aid or provide these services, products or capabilities. The illegal alien problem goes away immediately.
Bombs?
Our mission doesn't even have bombs at its disposal.
Aerial bombardments? Helicopter gunship attacks?
Our attack helicopters didn't arrive in Haiti until October 29. Their arrival was widely covered by the media, with plenty of videos and social media posts documenting it.
Yet this “report” was published a day before our helicopters even arrived. And as of today, they haven't flown a single mission.
These NGOs lie with impunity, while wielding enormous influence over international organizations.
They are nothing more than lobbying firms for criminals and cartels, masquerading as humanitarian organizations.
Such great work on https://t.co/DDNPR8I9N0! With this effort, the US Government is making a giant leap forward in accessibility to citizens, efficiency of interactions, and overall value to Americans. Congrats to you and the whole team!
Working at @ndstudio has been the greatest honor of my life. Yesterday was my last day, and it was hard to leave. This is the most incredible mission I’ve been a part of.
Joe has spent the last 2 years working to make sure the government feels less like going to the DMV. Everyone on the team could be making way more money somewhere else, but they chose to do this because it’s the best way to make a lot of people's lives actually better.
I think the whole point of engineering is to build something people actually need, that is going to be valuable to them. At NDS, "people" meant hundreds of millions of Americans.
You get to shape what it feels like to be a citizen of the best country on Earth. You don't get to do that anywhere else.
I've gotten to watch some of the most talented engineers and designers I know take pay cuts and give up sleep to make technology better for Americans. The team is still cooking. They're still building, growing, and improving https://t.co/1kM2wLo6dO, and there's so much ahead.
I am looking forward to trying my hand at something new, and I'll really miss the team. But if you're an engineer or designer and you care about the experience of being an American and how technology shapes it, you should go and talk to Joe and the team. There is nothing better you could be working on.

🚨THEY FILLED THE CAR WITH BALLOTS… AND SAID WHO WAS DOING IT
James O’Keefe’s undercover cameras caught it cold.
A ballot harvester in Minnesota shows the trunk and dashboard packed:
“You can see my car is full. All these here are absentee ballots. Can’t you see? Look at all these. My car is full.”
300 in one haul.
When asked who fills them out: “People who work with Ilhan and other candidates… they work for them.”
Cash changes hands. Elders get visited. Blank or open ballots leave the building. Minnesota law limits how many you can carry. Federal law bans the pay-to-vote scheme. None of it mattered.
This is the same machine still fighting every single effort to require citizenship proof and clean the rolls. The same people who call election security “disenfranchisement.”
They never stopped. They just got quieter about the receipts.
Pass the SAVE Act.
Clean the rolls.
End the harvest.
The patriots are done pretending this is normal.
@izurietavarea The magazine no longer should be able to call itself "The Economist". It has lost all sense of sound economic research, financial analysis, and proven economic principles. It is now just another group of left wing political activists masquerading as journalists.
@laralogan WE THE PEOPLE need to replace the GOP leadership and primary the majority of the Republicans currently in Congress. Time for every leader and politician in the GOP to embrace and enforce the conservative policies espoused by the GOP.
Attorney Who Sued Hospitals in 40 States Over Ivermectin Tells Ron Johnson: 69 of 72 Patients Who Received Ivermectin Survived When Courts Forced Treatment — All 140 Patients Denied the Drug Died | Jim Hoft, The Gateway Pundit
Attorney Ralph Lorigo delivered striking testimony Monday during Sen. Ron Johnson’s roundtable examining COVID-era hospital protocols, telling the Wisconsin Republican that he represented 212 families across 40 states who went to court seeking alternative treatment for critically ill COVID patients.
Johnson convened the September 28 roundtable, titled “COVID-19 Hospital Protocols: Real Stories from Real People,” to hear testimony from patients, family members, doctors, nurses and others about their experiences inside hospitals during the pandemic. According to Sen. Johnson’s office, the event was the first in Johnson’s series of COVID-related hearings and roundtables devoted entirely to hospital protocols.
Lorigo told the panel that of the 212 families he represented, there were 72 cases in which he prevailed and ivermectin was ultimately administered.
According to Lorigo, only three of those 72 patients died.
“In all, I represented 212 families across 40 states,” Lorigo said. “I won 72 where ivermectin was actually given. Only 3 people died.”
That means 69 of the 72 patients Lorigo identified survived, a survival rate of approximately 95.8 percent among that group.
Lorigo then described what he said happened in the remaining cases.
“Tragically, of the 140 cases where I couldn’t get into court quick enough or I lost, every single person died,” Lorigo testified.
Johnson immediately returned to the numbers, asking Lorigo to confirm that all 140 patients in the group that did not receive the treatment had died.
“They all died. Every single one,” Lorigo responded.
Johnson explicitly cautioned that Lorigo’s experience was not a randomized controlled trial, while arguing that the numbers nevertheless deserved scrutiny.
“It’s not a randomized controlled trial,” Johnson said, “but that’s some pretty powerful evidence that I wish our federal regulators would have taken a look at.”
Lorigo told the panel he worked seven days a week, ten hours a day, for a year. He called it the best experience of his life because he believes he helped save lives.
The three patients who died after he won court orders had already been on ventilators for more than 30, 40, and 50 days. Dr. Pierre Kory warned him those three were likely beyond saving. The families still wanted the fight.
“The families wanted to prove to this country that they shouldn’t be suppressed. They should have the right,” Lorigo said.
Then came the Texas case that still burns.
Lorigo said he won in court. The hospital still refused until the patient died.
That patient, according to Houston physician Dr. Mary Talley Bowden, was Tarrant County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Jones. Bowden posted after the hearing: “My patient Jason Jones was one of the unfortunate ones, thanks to Texas Huguley Hospital.”
Jones, a 48-year-old father of six with nearly three decades in law enforcement, entered Texas Health Huguley Hospital in late September 2021. He was intubated and placed in a medically induced coma in early October. His wife, Erin, obtained a prescription from Bowden and sued to force the hospital to allow treatment.
A trial judge sided with the family. The Texas Second Court of Appeals reversed the order on November 18, 2021. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the appeals court said judges could not substitute their judgment for the hospital’s.
The Dallas Morning News later reported Jones made it home by June 2022 but never fully recovered. He died April 11, 2023, at age 50. His family was later honored in Washington during Police Week.
Bowden has said hospital staff called Fort Worth police when her nurse arrived to administer the drug, and that after the hospital won on appeal, Jones’ feeding tube was wrapped to keep anyone from slipping ivermectin through it. The Texas Medical Board later reprimanded Bowden over the episode. The patient never received the medicine inside that hospital.
This is the same drug the FDA spent years mocking. The Gateway Pundit reported in 2024 that the FDA agreed to strip its anti-ivermectin social-media campaign after doctors sued, including Bowden.
In July, Johnson waved a stack of studies at Anthony Fauci and reminded him that the same day Fauci told CNN there was “no evidence” ivermectin worked, dozens of controlled studies were already on the record. Fauci took the Fifth.
Lorigo named the physicians he says actually did the work while hospitals locked the pharmacy: Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Paul Marik, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Alan Bain, Dr. Mary Bowden. Kory, he said, took his calls morning, noon, and night and wrote affidavits that moved judges.
“This is no longer about COVID or ivermectin,” Lorigo told Johnson. “This is about medical freedom and the right to try. This is about governmental suppression and how big giants like Big Pharma control our destiny.”
There are now 106 Ivermectin COVID-19 controlled studies showing a 62% lower risk of early treatment in COVID-19 patients.
The chart, titled “Ivermectin for COVID-19 – 106 studies with more than 200,000 patients,” claimed that pooled data from randomized controlled trials and observational studies showed significant reductions in mortality, hospitalization, ICU admission, viral clearance, and other serious COVID-19 outcomes among patients treated with ivermectin.

Biden-era policies turned illegal migration into an industry. NGOs received billions in federal funds to process migrants. The border surge funded Mexican cartels: border encounters/gotaways running 2.5–3 million/year & human-smuggling revenue in the billions of dollars/year.
The US government under Democrat control became a massive funder of crime, and the legacy media is still advocating for them and protecting them.
Large swaths of corporate media exist at this point primarily to propagandize and radicalize subsets of the population into supporting the liquidation of national sovereignty. Willfully omitted by the CNN propagandists is that these are minors who cartels have recently tried to smuggle across the Southwest Border but who were rescued by Border Patrol. These minors will now be safely and humanely reunited with their families by dedicated public servants who have devoted their lives to combatting child trafficking. It is because of the efforts of these public servants that there is no longer a raging UAC (“unaccompanied alien child”) catastrophe — the Trump Administration swiftly, urgently and righteously ended the child trafficking nightmare.
Between ten to twenty thousand children a MONTH were successfully smuggled by cartels into the US under Biden, who worked with taxpayer NGOs to deliver the smuggled children to unknown adults in the US, whereupon they disappeared. The NGOs then submitted knowingly fraudulent asylum claims to try to keep the children from ever going home or seeing their families again.
These same Democrat-NGO networks for cartels were also ruthlessly exploited by TDA and MS-13 to insert gang members into the United States and violent criminals into our high schools (automatically allowed in merely by claiming to be 17), subjecting innocent American children to unspeakable horrors.
It was one of the darkest of many dark chapters of the Biden era. The Trump Administration put the child traffickers out of business and CNN considers this a great tragedy to be urgently reversed. New depths of “journalistic” depravity and immortality.
@mtgreenee What are your goals with this rhetoric? Does it improve the outcome for America? Is it creating any changes in the GOP?
You are just undermining the conservative movement before the election and thereby helping the corrupt socialists.
@OwenGregorian If a deported violent criminal with no chance for reentry to the US returns, why do we not designate them a criminal invader and make the only sentence the death penalty. The trial should be short and fast as you can't accidentally reenter the country. Time to stop the criminals
@DavidSacks Agreed. The last thing we need is the government, NGOs, or SF companies being the source of truth for the nation. Anthropic/OpenAI see their incremental value compared to open-weight models shrinking and impacting their revenue stream.
Don't fall for another false crisis trap!
I love how the AI Ethics people morphed from demanding all AI pics of George Washington generate a transsexual two-spirit otherkin to now demanding, after Woke 1.0 crashed, the government takes over AI & simply hands the most woke AI companies a government-protected cartel.
Anthropic and OpenAI are not only seeking regulatory capture to create a moat; they also want vaccine-style immunity from liability.
Neither should happen. AIs look more and more like exceedingly sophisticated tools, not sentient beings.
They bring vast knowledge generated by other people, plus raw processing power, to intelligence and digital work. They will solve more problems where the needed knowledge already exists, but the work of applying it has been beyond our abilities. Intelligence is still limited by knowledge, which requires data and usually research and experimentation in the real world.
Even superintelligence cannot solve a problem with too many unknowns. AIs will accelerate advancement and productivity, but it will become even more obvious that intelligence is limited by data and knowledge. And regardless of the level of digital intelligence, much of that knowledge will still require physical experimentation and discovery.
Dario has written that we need to “pace the frontier,” and Sam has agreed. People may be surprised by my response: go ahead.
You guys are the frontier. By any reasonable metric — market share, revenue growth, model capability — the two of you have a duopoly on frontier intelligence. You’ve also claimed the lead is widening because of recursive self-improvement.
I don’t see what you see in the lab. If the unreleased models are scary enough that you think you should slow down, I support your decision to be responsible.
But stop pretending you need anyone else’s permission. Stop pretending antitrust law has to be suspended so you can form a cartel. Stop pretending you need a regulatory approval process that supersedes product liability. Stop pretending METR is independent when it is intertwined with Anthropic’s investors and staff. Stop pretending you need those same evaluators to police competitors who aren’t even at the frontier.
Most of all, stop pretending the motivation to slow down is purely altruistic. You face massive product-liability exposure if your products enable a truly damaging cyberattack. The market already punishes models that behave in unpredictable or unauthorized ways. After the Hugging Face episode, it is simply good business for OpenAI and Anthropic to trade some raw power for reliability and predictability. Call it alignment if you want. It is also just giving customers what they want.
Pacing the frontier would also create breathing room for a more intelligent conversation about regulation than Bernie Sanders’ “shut it all down.” China is very unlikely to join a global agreement, as you know, and that has to be taken into account as well.
So go ahead and pace the frontier. You are the ones setting it. The easiest way not to build superintelligence is for you to agree not to build it. Demanding your preferred regulatory framework as the price of that will look like blackmail of the public and the political system. So just do it.
If you do, you’ll buy goodwill for the next conversation. If you don’t, we’ll know this was just another bid for regulatory capture — or an election-season psyop.
@altcap@CNBC@andrewdfeldman@JensenHuang Great job discussing the games played by media and politicians with the recent AI commentary from Anthropic ex-employee(s). Please post/repost your appearance on X. We need more real debates on AI implementations, impacts, and trajectory.
Too many activists in the spin cycle.
