Last week, I attended the @ElonMusk and Jamie Dimon @SpaceX discussion at J.P. Morgan. Jamie asked Elon how he had changed over the past 20 years as a leader and a person.

Elon's answer wasn't about success. It was about what's next. He said he has learned a lot...has made mistakes and still has much to learn...

Then he added, “I think maybe the future AI will say ‘not bad for a human’."

Elon, thank you so much for what you've done for humanity. Congrats to you, @Gwynne_Shotwell, @BretWJ, and the entire team. What is even more remarkable... this feels like day one, that you are just getting started.

PS. When people ask "what is the next SpaceX and who is the next Elon?" Simple answer.

SpaceX represents the pinnacle of technological innovation. It is the coolest company in the GALAXY. Full stop.

Not just because rockets are cool (duh), and not just because they have literally revolutionized the space industry, but because their mission is insanely AMBITIOUS and INSPIRING.

They are attempting to turn a sci-fi dream into a reality. They want to colonize Mars and make humanity a multi-planetary species. They are building Starship, a reusable space transportation system, and planning to send thousands of these gigantic rockets the size of skyscrapers, to Mars. This morning, Starship had its 5th flight test and they caught the booster with GIANT METAL CHOPSTICKS on their FIRST TRY. What they're doing sounds batshit crazy and it IS!

@SpaceX faced the brink of collapse multiple times throughout its history but now they’re sending rockets up to space every few days. They’ve already accomplished more than anyone - except maybe @elonmusk and his early investors - thought they ever would. They’ve redefined an entire industry. They’re sending more rockets to space than entire nations. Starlink, their satellite system, represents over 60% of all active satellites in orbit, and they only sent the first one up in 2019!

What SpaceX is accomplishing is the manifestation of a dream and a movement to change reality - one among the stars. And they’re still just getting started. Strap in boys, we’re going to Mars 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
