@BradWilcoxIFS@aibm_org So it isn’t a myth. No one counts paid work as family work (as debatable as this is). When they discuss this issue they mean just housework and childcare. I’d love to see this again but with dual working parents with the same hours…
@shivmalik Let me get this straight. The UK is producing less electricity than before, lower CO2 emissions, all while dealing with the turmoil of Brexit, but is still predicted to grow at a faster rate than many other advanced economies. Maybe long term it’s on to something
@julianHjessop So we’re saying Britain doesn’t have an immigration crisis? Brexiters need to make their minds up. One minute it’s awful here, the next we’re winning big time… and Britain’s immigration policy clearly changed as a result of Brexit, that was the core argument for it
@chrisfrazier0@NipseyHoussle You can’t all be, otherwise there’d be no need for the service. The only people working are those designated to serve as your minions. In Europe, we take time off and make it up at the weekend. That way more people can have a weekend. Keep up
@BritainUnbound You Brexit lot are so confused. One minute you’re calling Britain this awful declining hellhole, but the moment someone suggests this might be because of Brexit you all whip out the ‘Britain is thriving outside the EU’ card. Make your minds up.
@IGMansfield@julianHjessop Remember: if you think Brexit hasn’t impacted GDP or negatively impacted the UK or led to a worsening of public services or a drop in living standards
You simply haven’t been awake for the past decade
@ProjectGokuu@hubermanlab I mean come on. Does she not stop to question anything she reads in a study? “Ooo I found a study that says this, I’ll make a podcast!”. How are people listening to this stuff and taking it seriously?
