The most powerful thing about a belief is the belief itself. Doesn't matter if it's true.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@davidmweissman @elonmusk Elon hates totalitarians, left or right.
Communists are just as evil as Nazis.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@barnes_law Yeah arrested day before he was supposed to testify at Congress? Timing a little suspicious

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@barnes_law I'll be amazed if SBF gets anything worse than the Sussmann treatment, assuming it even goes to trial.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@Timcast Smh at wokdividuals who think they're all about diversity and inclusion but, in reality, only of those approved by their cult.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@elonmusk While the 1st Amendment applies only to the government (eg not private businesses), free speech in America is clearly regulated by statutory and case law (cant yell fire in movie theater). Legally speaking, there is no such thing as "hate speech".

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@Rektonomy @1MarkMoss True but also true for many non Bitcoin cryptos; nothing special about Bitcoin here.

Also if all one has is a copy and does not have and actively use blockchain tools and hardware required to run same in real time, they cant do anything to prevent falsified transactions.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss 9/ THEN compare that to the list of people, orgs, and mining equipment required to create new blocks on a proof of stake (PoS) network like Cardano and, assuming objective analysis, you may conclude that Cardano is, in fact, more decetralized than Bitcoin.

Cheers,-Matt

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss 8/ Do some homework; make a list of the people, orgs, etc. over the last 12 months who have created new blocks on the Bitcoin blockchain and, IMO, you will have the proof the Bitcoin is actually very centralized in only the hands of the very wealthy few.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss 7/ rigs create new blocks. As a result, Bitcoin's actual level of decentralization is a function of how many miners (e.g. people, orgs, etc.) are creating new blocks and the cost of acquiring and maintaining the mining equipment.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss 6/ requires super fast (read as prohibitively expensive) mining equipment that calculate cryptographic proofs to add blocks to the network. But because only the first miner to successfully complete said proof per block is rewarded, only the fastest, most-expensive mining

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss 5/ blocks on Bitcoin's blockchain (e.g. mine), on the other hand, effectively control the network.

Further, Bitcoin is a proof of work (PoW) network which, in addition to using an exorbitant amount of electricity compared to other "cryptos",

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss 3/ since, per your comments at the end of the video, "is really the key piece".

This video does not appear to differentiate between downloading the Bitcoin database versus mining new Bitcoin blocks on the chain, thereby conflating the two.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss 2/ I do respect at the end of this video you ask for counter argument 'receipts' so this is reason for my post. Because the scope of topics re: Bitcoin vs. Crypto is so large (e.g. this video alone is 45 minutes long), I will initially limit my comments to decentralization

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss 1/ Hi Mark, I'm relatively new to your social media and, overall, enjoy and learn from your content. This video, however, makes you sound like a Bitcoin Maximalist who is either unaware of or misinformed about the many uses of blockchain/crpyto tech beyond digital currencies.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@engineers_feed Short answer, not enough info provided. Depends how book was printed.
Reminds me IQ test questions where those who happen to guess what the asker had in mind from the potential permutations is "smarter".

Sam, re: this thread, the only thing infinitesimal is your courage to be objective, which makes you a mental midget.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@1MarkMoss @1MarkMoss starting with your recent video "FTX was a Deep State plan" depends if SBF is patsy or darling of Deep State. If latter, my $ is on Sussman treatment at worst for SBF.

[Matt Wisner @MattWisner69]

@elonmusk @elonmusk there is no freedom of speech without freedom from advertisers. Using "hate speech" to limit the 1st Amendment shows you're willing to help advance the Communists' "political correctness" turned cancel culture to the next authoritarian, dystopian levels. Go count your $
