My bigger gripes are losing home games to Vancouver, Chicago and you can argue both St. Louis and Nashville because they were down near the bottom at that time. 0 points in those 4 games. Thats just cant happen regardless of how they played against top teams.

(3/3) Bottom line is the #isles barely got any help on the out of town scoreboard over the last month but they also didn’t help themselves either. They have 12 points out of a possible 30 in the last month. Thats just not going to cut it this time of year.

You could argue that their play really started slipping before the Olympic break & yes they won some games down multiple goals after the break but the way they have played during that time hasnt been good enough & their record over the last month has shown that

#isles are 12th in the EC. 6th in the Metro. 3 points behind #Flyers. 1 point behind #CBJ and tied with #Allcaps .

@IslesFix Lol ok. Ownership wants to make the playoffs when you are sitting in a playoff spot almost 90% of the season you try to make the playoffs. Regardless of if you or I think they will win a round.

This take is hot garbage. It was unnecessary to trade for a center when we dont have one that can be trusted as the 2C? Theres a reason why Barzal was moved to the wing. Theres a reason why Ritchie was moved to the wing. Take a guess why?

Peter DeBoer, and others, were available when Darche took the job, he decided to stick with a hold over in Roy; then, after he exceeded expectations, saddled him with Soucy, Palat, and forced positional changes with the unnecessary trade for Schenn. Then, fires him.

It’s completely unsustainable. There are too many games this team is not hard enough to play against and play is dictated against them. While they keep finding a way right now there is no 3 on 3 in the playoffs for them to rely on.

This will never happen but John Tavares is an ideal fit for #Isles THIS year. Very cheap contract. Scored 38 last season. 2C and PP enhancer. A place hes played before. Cost minimal. Biggest hold up is that he does have a NMC and he appears to be enjoying the #Leafs toiling away.

@RaymondNYsports Center is an area of weakness. Cal Ritchie has alot of potential and very well be our future 2C but hes very raw and prone to mistakes in the defensive zone. We could absolutely use another C. He can wear 61, real ones know.

@d3adman25 I dislike John just as much as the next #isles fan. He didnt win on the contract he left us for. Leafs aren’t winning anything anytime soon. For the betterment of the isles and our chances to win I am willing to forgive.
