I cannot in good conscience continue using a platform when its owner is openly endorsing a would-be dictator. Adios, Twitter/X. You were fun for a while. But not anymore.
@_TaylorKitchen_ That post-race interview Parker gave reminds me of Matty D after Bristol in 2019. You can see bad he wanted it, and you can see in his eyes how much it hurts not to get it.
Franchises let their fans down all the time. Heartbreak and disappointment are a part of sports.
What the Mariners have done this year to their fans this year disgraceful.
In 48 seasons it's the biggest example of their ineptitude that we have seen yet.
Just a flat out shame.
@DLand91 I was at that race, and I can tell you, before Busch and Stewart tangled, I sat there thinking 'man, they're spread OUT. Is it really gonna end this way?' It obviously did not when they wrecked, but yes, it didn't get exciting until dusk.
@CopierCollin Cheating is still cheating. If you're that good, you shouldn't need to cheat to win. And they didn't cheat in the World Series. But they cheated to get there.
@DustinNickerson Yeah, idk why I decided to check in on the game. I think I'm about to check out on paying attention for the rest of the year. It's another disappointment of a year.
@_TaylorKitchen_ Hamlin also has a bit of a vested playoff interest in disqualifying Dillon, but obviously he'd have won if not for being wrecked. Then again, Dillon had it sewn up if not for Stenhouse crashing. What a debacle lol
@_TaylorKitchen_ Interested to see what transpires tomorrow. To me, the data suggests he wrecked the 11 intentionally. If that is the case, rule the win ineligible for playoff contention but allow him to keep it. Only reason he went that desperate was the playoff factor. Precedent must be set.
