Better solution: cap executive compensation as a ratio to the minimum compensation in a company. Lift others up instead.

@MAD_lines The more a thing is 'free' the more people that use it. So, eventually, nobody pays for shelter, college, or food. That means people working to provide those things get paid solely thru taxes. The # people paid by taxes > # of people paying taxes. Where does the money come from?

@MassJane You don't have to be rich to enter those professions, you just have to make good choices while pursuing them.

Choice and desire should really play no part. I don't want an incapable doctor just because 'they really wanted it'. I want the one with the most ability.
