The whole point of removing legs from booster and ship is to save mass and complexity (and points of failure). Why land at sea when you can land at any of the launchnpads they are constructing?

@elonmusk Your pivot from Mars was extreme. Your concern for the need to dominate the AI datacenter space (via vertically integrated SpaceX) was such a strong signal you knew something. Suspect Mars will certainly start with well trained Optimus, which solves many other issues also

@idongon @SpaceX By 'lots' im going to assume it's the same 15 or 20 fools who are loud on social media. Once space travel becomes relatively cheap (10 years) ill pay their tickets for an orbit or two just to see their faces when they realise how incredibly stupid they are.

The camera has to reduce its exposure so much due to the reflected light from the sun bouncing off the earth into the lens, that the stars are invisible. Move the camera so earth and moon aren't in shor and exposure changes and the stars appear.

@BryanLivingston @StarshipGazer 100%. You dont direct a raptor which didn't light. You look at the hundreds of data points per microsecond from all the ship and engine sensors. I still dont know why Elon indicated swapping 2 when 4 didn't light.
