@tomboreynolds @2147mill I agree, as a local teacher, it's harder to thrive. The contract with teaching is understood, you don't walk into it blindly. It's well known that teachers are not paid enough and have little flexibility with their time

If you love teaching, go self employed and teach privately and even remotely. Single? Live anywhere that's cheap, but gives high life quality
