Gonna sign off Twitter for a while.
All I really get here are spam bots and nonsense. Most accounts of any value that I follow are on other platforms, particularly where the sky is blue, which is where you can find me. Same name and everything.
Settings: video autoplay never.
Reality: when a video finishes, it automatically plays another unrelated video.
Great feature, devs. Very respectful of your users.
@unclebobmartin Green and blue, or the extent to which a given pigment is a member of one or both of those colours, is a social construct.

@pattinson_nicky @AmericanPa3ot @wrong_speak@BasedCLC The same law. Just as Roe Vs. Wade protected women from being forced to carry to term, the same doctrine also protected citizens from state-enforced sterilization. That protection had been lost in the noise.
Some Very British Problems as haiku:
1.
Cup of tea goes cold,
Kettle boils for a refill,
Milk runs out again.
2.
Last biscuit on plate,
Politeness makes us all pause,
Who will dare to take?
3.
Sunday roast begins,
Yorkshire puds in golden rows,
Gravy boat runs dry.
4.
Waiting for the bus,
Drizzle turns to heavy rain,
Timetable's a myth.
5.
Scones with jam and cream,
Debate: which goes first on top?
Cornwall or Devon?
6.
Sun hides all year long,
One glimpse and we're in the park,
Sunburned in one hour.
7.
Council roadwork signs,
Appearing overnight fast,
Traffic jams for weeks.
8.
Early morning rush,
Bin lorry clatters and beeps,
Oh dear Iβve missed it.

Real talk. What does liking a post actually achieve now. It used to be a sort of soft retweet that would turn up in your followers' feeds. But now it's private, why would I ever click that bottom?
Google AI overview suggests adding glue to get cheese to stick to pizza, and it turns out the source is an 11 year old Reddit comment from user F*cksmith π

All of the expressions on the right yield the type on the left. It made some kind of sense back then and it's still the way the language thinks of itself.
We should have embraced rather than fought it, imo. All that wasted energy.
@alexbunardzic My reading is that the sw should always act as you, the developer, intended. That is basic correctness.
It may not be what the customer needs, or may be incomplete for that purpose.
The only way to discover the distance and direction between these two is to deliver the first.
