@nreillyjohnson I used to work at the airport, many times i called their names several times, they turn up after the plane had gone and its all my fault as apparently no calls were done and it was never on the screens. My answer was always so how come 175 others made it with no problem?
@McDonalds order a spicy snack wrap with no cheese, got a ranch wrap with cheese. This is the 2nd time in a row cheese has been added when I asked not to. Good thing it's not an allergy!!
@markydeedrop@SPD_travels Newcastle is only 150ft longer and they can so can't see it being much of an issue at LPL but there's way more to it than that making it pretty much a never going to happen
@SoVeryBritish Brits in an airport:
- £5 drop off fee? Daylight robbery!
- £9.50 for sweets? Well it must be cheap because it's duty free!
- £17 for a microwaved curry and a pint, you have to when on holiday right?
- On the plane, £13.50 for a sandwich, mini wine and pringles, be rude not to
@SPD_travels I thought SEN would be first as they have proven success there. I think SOU is still at a test the waters stage. I think next year they will do similar to what they've done at SEN, a few more EJU flights then maybe SOU in 2026. I think a base will happen just not yet
@ABTravel02@blindspotsguy@SeanM1997 No the didn't, they flew to Cherbourg around 2009/10 I think. They did fly to Caen from London Southend, operated by Stobart
Binge watching @AnnekaRice in Treasure Hunt while binging on a Chinese takeaway. My favourite moment is the Red Arrows and that scream of Oh my goodness! and Wincey saying I think she's seen them 😅
@SPD_travels Looking at how much the AF operation has reduced with Transavia taking over many route in recent years, this is hardly surprising. There's now far better domestic connections for those arriving from French Overseas territories at CDG than ORY now
