I welcome the appointment of Dr Ainsworth as the new Board Chair & Mr Hansen as the new Chief Executive Officer of the @APVMA. I commend Minister Watt @MurrayWatt & APVMA Board for finding the best possible candidates. My media statement: https://t.co/7MIuQFdYzs #auspoł
Love summer and all the amamzing produce at this time of year. I’m also always impressed seeing the innovation and value adding that Australian’s do with our amazing produce. Tried this Mulberry Syrup from the Barossa on the weekend…..absolutely amazing. https://t.co/058y1nlSeZ
Australian farmers have been confirmed as the world’s leading climate-smart producers in the same week the Government moves to cut the CSIRO scientists that help them do it.

The staggering incompetence of @Qantas ground/boarding staff at gates 17/19 at Sydney airport this afternoon was something to behold. Of course in their true bad service tradition they also gave passengers bad attitude. Thankful that their flight crews aren’t equally useless .
If you walk into any café in the Parliamentary triangle in Canberra right now it’s hard not to agree with the Federal Coalition that the nation could easily lose 41,000 federal public servants without impacting on actual front line services. #auspol#auspol25
I suppose as a @Telstra shareholder I shouldn’t be surprised at it being such a poor performing stock, considering every time I deal with them as a customer, both personal and corporate, it’s like the company is dedicated to making me go to @Optus.
Big shoutout & thankyou to the Valley Fresh Cherries and Stonefruits team from Young who made the trip to Canberra today. Quality of cherries this season is great and always good to be able to buy direct from the grower. #cherries#Farmers#farming#agriculture
The @abcnews and @abclandline have some serious questions to answer regarding factually incorrect, misleading and sensationalised reporting. The journalists and producers involved might like to acquaint themselves with the ABC’s own Editorial Policies https://t.co/Ds4njmJH15
The #NationalAgRally has kicked off! Farmers and supporters are standing strong to make their voices heard. Don’t forget to tune into our Facebook live event at 11am. ➡️https://t.co/j1oPI1WQON
Great to be at Farmers' for Climate Action @farmingforever Queensland Parliamentary Reception and hearing from Qld Minister for Agriculture @MarkFurnerMP, @LNPQLD’s Pat Weir and a range of ag industry leaders.
Devastated to hear of the expected closing of the King Island Diary. Had assumed my own consumption levels of their Triple Cream Brie would have been enough to keep them viable. Massive loss of an iconic Australian food brand and very tough for the King Island community.
CropLife is disappointed to see @ABCRural abandon its own long-standing journalistic principles of integrity, responsibility and accuracy with recent online reporting of agricultural chemical regulation in promotion of an upcoming episode of Landline.

A brilliant read. Knocked it over in a couple of days on holiday. I hadn’t read any of @lisajewelluk previous books but this was enthralling from beginning to end. I am now off to get her other books.
I welcome the great honour to serve as the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and thank the Prime Minister for this new challenge.
Agriculture plays a vital role in our country, and our national economy continues to rely on a strong and diverse sector.
