As the NRL grapples for another battle against Motor Neurone Disease, we at the League Scene would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of AFL legend Neale Daniher, who sadly lost his long battle with the disease earlier today.
Daniher’s advocacy, charity work and work with the AFL to create the “Big Freeze” event on the Kings Birthday long weekend is truly incredible, and we hope the NRL can take similar steps in the near future.
@franfraschilla@GarthGlissman@nbagleague@NBA As an Australian who is very invested in my local league (the NBL) I agree with you both. It just doesnt make sense for us to have players playing and developing in the league for 3 years only to be offered millions to play in American colleges.
@HPbasketball Not a fan, but someone with an idea, lol. This is an insane take. If Gobert isn’t here wolves are scratching and clawing just to get into the playoffs and likely not winning rounds. Then all the discourse is: Ant can’t win in Minnesota. He has to leave.
@ChrisLongKSTP@BrianHalverson I've always felt that at a certain point a coach needs to own the mentality their team displays.
I think Finch is a good coach but we're consistently seeing these mentality issues from rosters he coaches, and its not like we haven't brought different players through the doors
