The number of at risk retirees means Florida SHOULD have more Covid deaths. Also in Florida expect: fewer deaths of despair from lockdown. Longer and better lives for kids not locked out of school.

@EdKrassen Depends on how old you are, Ed. If you’re 62, you probably won’t approve, whether you’re a Dem or a Rep. If you’re 25 and staring at an insolvent system that won’t be there for you, I bet you’ll find it a dandy idea, again whether you’re a Dem or a Rep.

My starting assumption for people who proclaim “we are loving and compassionate” and “they are ignorant and hateful” is that those proclaiming this divide are so blinded by ideology they can’t see their own ignorance and hate.
