Lies, disinformation and the distortion of history have been weaponised by the Russian government in its war on Ukraine.
It has attempted to justify its actions using baseless claims of “de-nazifying" Ukraine.
@KarenPollock100@HolocaustUK explains why this is so damaging 👇
Our Royal Patron, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, visited the World Jewish Relief office today. We had the opportunity to thank His Royal Highness for his engaged, authentic support that encourages our continued efforts. @Clarencehouse@Blakeezraphoto
@DXWQC Boris Johnson’s leadership on military and diplomatic support for Ukraine has been very welcome but David Wolfson’s position - expressed so eloquently here- is sacrosanct. Our elected leaders’ respect for the rule of law must be our highest value…
"If we think the response of the international community to the crisis has been impressive, the response of Ukrainians has been monumental"
A reflection by Head of Humanitarian Programmes Kai Hopkins on his visit to Lviv, Ukraine: https://t.co/p2MrMkBDTI
We are overwhelmed by your generosity for #Ukraine. Although we hugely appreciate offers to donate goods, these requests can slow down our response as we don't have the resources to transport items.
The best way to help is to donate cash to get our partners what they need, fast.
AN UPDATE FROM OUR PARTNERS FROM #ZAPORIZHYA: 'Got out by bus to #Dnipro, then on train to #Lviv. Kids were 5-6 to a bunk and more on the floor. Lights off, everyone had to lie or crouch down while travelling through battle zones.Train capacity 2,000 but more than 9,000 on.'
Amazed at what my @WJRelief team is doing to move mountains in rescuing people out of Ukraine while getting supplies in. I share their exhaustion but sense we are only near the beginning. We never want to say we should have done more. #StandWithUkraine️
