@hqmank Gpt models are getting more efficient and fast. 5.6 is half the price and optionally available at 750 tokens per second, while Dario focuses on fear mongering. I don’t think there is any question to be asked. GPT just wins hands down. I think Anthropic is losing this now.

@GoogleDeepMind It looks Google has just given up in this AI race. While others make major leaps with new models, Google is happy with these incremental changes. Really sad to see, I was rooting for Google. Not anymore I guess.

@thsottiaux This is a sad precedent being set. We all know how this story is going to end. We may have access to maybe 1-2 next generation of models that the elite would decide we deserve.

If this doesn’t rally people behind open source models then I don’t know what would.

@HarryStebbings @typesfast lol. My colleagues in office are worse than 5 year olds. I always had to book a meeting room and run away from my desk. But that meant no monitor from me. At home, my kid knows not to disturb when I am in my office. Kids are not as dumb if you teach them properly.
