The problem with the Mex.-American vs Mexican issue is many of y'all haven't even worked out how racist our mother culture already is and it's embedded in everything you say back to us. We've come here and had racial nuance thrust into our faces every day of our lives.

I don't hate UB. I hate how mediocre MTG is right now. It's not fun when the meta is no longer a puzzle to be solved. It's not fun when no one cares to engage with you in that puzzle. I'm bored. I just want to play fun games with my community. Competition is fun to me God forbid.

@electraxpeach Likely European ethnicity mixed with indigenous. Race is not a clean category. It's mostly made up and subjective. Irish and Italians were not considered white until the 20h century and then they became white. Mexicans were "white" until the 50s in the US.

You can tell middle aged men typically control the convos around anime here. English dubs are generally good nowadays but don't say that to crusty old anime fans.

BTW this is also MTG, Pokemon, much of the anime fanbase, and video games as well. We have a middle aged men controlling all narratives and criticism problem in all these facets of our culture. I'm the same way but I'm willing to call out my own kind. This stuff is no lngr 4 kids

@infernoman64 IDK I get it but SW fans are generally middle aged men high on nostalgia and are as a result pretty damn insufferable and gatekeepy. To the point that I don't see how SW is still a thing when they stop watching.
