God defeated the demon as a human and gave us the ability to resist temptation and reject the enticing offer of the dark spirit. Through temptation, our faith and steadfast love for the Heavenly Father are tested. To obey God's law is not merely to avoid sin, but to honor and cherish the words that come from God's mouth and grant life.
"Injustice I have hated and despised, but Your law I have loved." Psalm 118.
Many quote “Judge not, that you be not judged” (Matt 7:1) as if all judgment is forbidden. Eastern Orthodoxy clarifies: Jesus warns against hypocritical or self-righteous condemnation, not righteous discernment. Context matters. 🧵

True Christian judgment is an act of love and obedience to God. Misusing “Judge not” to avoid correction or moral discernment twists Scripture. Judging rightly protects souls and honors God.

Did any of the Saints go around telling everyone they were saved because of that one time they confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior?
Asking for a lot of people.
@Cousin_Swen@tkelce bro I'm done with you on this; I've told you I do love and forgive them but it's still not right and I won't ever teach my kids that its ok to be gay.
go ahead and let the gayness in your house, you're the leader of yours not mine.
I had my son cleaning under his bed (toys, cars, clothes, Pokémon cards) and he came out and asked if he could throw away one card (football card) because he said mom said, "that guy is gay" and he didn't want it if he was gay.
That football player was @tkelce 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I agreed he should toss it.
