Godspeed.
Widely acclaimed as one of the greatest duets of all time, this 1987 archival footage from Ibiza captures the iconic song "Barcelona." It stands as a vivid testament to the perfect fusion of Montserrat Caballé’s sublime operatic vocals and Freddie Mercury’s captivating stage presence—a masterpiece that left an indelible mark on music history and went on to become the official and defining anthem of the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
Simon Dixon…
… is the most significant and important voice in the financial/crypto/global governance space of the last century
Observation:
… Dixon defines new terminology and models to extant/hidden systems of control and collusion between governments and corporations. Dixon’s work is as important and builds on Richard Werner’s proof that ‘money is created out of thin air’.
You don’t have to agree with him to find yuge value in what he speaks to.
For example, I do not agree with a globalist Bitcoin BTC system of money or exchange of value… for many reasons.

Apple …
… has research facilities in Israel
**Yes, Apple (Apple Inc., formerly Apple Computer) has significant research and development (R&D) facilities in Israel.**<grok:render card_id=“abc98d” card_type=“citation_card” type=“render_inline_citation”><argument name="citation_id">0</argument></grok:render>
These include dedicated centers focused on hardware technologies (such as processors for Macs and other chips), machine learning/AI, computer vision, electro-optics, connectivity, cameras, and more. Key details:
- **Herzliya (Herzliya Pituach)**: Apple’s main and largest R&D center in Israel, opened/inaugurated in 2015. It has been described as Apple’s second-largest R&D facility worldwide (after Cupertino headquarters). The site has expanded multiple times, with leases for additional space.<grok:render card_id=“0331a0” card_type=“citation_card” type=“render_inline_citation”><argument name="citation_id">0</argument></grok:render>
- **Haifa**: Another established R&D site, often mentioned alongside Herzliya for chip development and related work.<grok:render card_id=“1031ed” card_type=“citation_card” type=“render_inline_citation”><argument name="citation_id">10</argument></grok:render>
- **Jerusalem**: A newer development center announced around 2022, focused on processor development for Mac computers.<grok:render card_id=“cb5e97” card_type=“citation_card” type=“render_inline_citation”><argument name="citation_id">10</argument></grok:render>
Apple employs around **2,000 people** across its Israeli R&D operations (as of recent reports from 2025–2026), with ongoing hiring for roles in machine learning, physics-informed AI, optical systems, biomechanics research, and hardware engineering. Apple’s careers site lists active positions in Israel (Haifa, Herzliya, etc.).<grok:render card_id=“fbb6bd” card_type=“citation_card” type=“render_inline_citation”><argument name="citation_id">5</argument></grok:render>
These facilities stem from acquisitions (e.g., Anobit and PrimeSense) and organic growth, with leadership ties like Senior VP Johny Srouji (Israeli-born) playing a key role. They contribute to core Apple technologies, including M-series chips.<grok:render card_id=“8a1883” card_type=“citation_card” type=“render_inline_citation”><argument name="citation_id">14</argument></grok:render>
This presence is well-documented in sources like *The Times of Israel*, AppleInsider, company profiles, and Apple’s own job listings. No major indications suggest these facilities have closed.

Apple and Israel...
... I have used Apple hardware since the Fat Mac days
... I will not be buying new Israeli baked products
... for many reasons
Genocide would be the top of the list, but a close second, would be that you never know whether the devices are listening or exploding.
Really dumb decision:
@Apple
Bourla...
... is famous for admitting that he was NOT vaccinated
... as I recall he said, he wanted to ensure that others had adequate access to the vaxx, and thus on humanitarian grounds he passed on the injection.
... clearly, we need more people of Bourla's moral standing in corporations
Imagine knowing all this decades before anybody else even had the slightest idea.
It would literally drive you truly crazy.
Here’s the full clip. Enjoy.
Rural Computing Facilities…
… are a wonderful development
I was consulting in Germany once upon a time, and found that there is a unique integration between tech and the country side. Meaning that there is lots of high tech mixed into small agricultural farming communities… in this case adjacent to university towns.
Similarly, in Norway and Sweden from my telecommunications days when Telenor and Telia distributed our satellite communications software, I found that there was an advanced level of tech skills in what I thought were smaller communities.
In North America/Canada, it feels that high is centered in large cities. Research Triangle Park, Kitchener/Waterloo, Ottawa and remotely possible Kingston would not be consistent with my statement.
So… exodus from the cities to the hinterlands looks viable.
Interesting…
… Xahau Network
… this could replace traditional cloud computing
… very cool isolation in the countryside but globally connected
