@TheGillsFC Questioning here is attrocious. Doesn’t actually offer us any insight. Nothing around what he feels he will bring and his strengths or his philosophy…
@GillsInTheBlood I guess they’re making an example. Especially as they admitted to doing the same to Ipswich and Oxford. If they won the final then they would have made millions despite the fine which won’t scare teams from doing same going forwards. Feel for Hull though.
An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training.
In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table.
The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.

@GillsInTheBlood@MattP_Titan Three cameos don’t make a player. But three more cameos for a us than if we signed a player with all the same attributes that had never played for us - of which I’m sure would also get people excited. We know what he CAN do and that is enough to be allowed to be excited by
@GillsInTheBlood@MattP_Titan Think you’re missing the point. The potential we saw in that cameo is everything we need. Pace, directness, creativity and scaring defences. Cannot remember the last pacey player we had at the club that looks to the people on constantly. Would also get the fans on side
🚨 After Kudus, Cuti Romero and Xavi Simons, also Dominic Solanke’s season could be over.
He’s has suffered a grade-two hamstring injury, as Telegraph reported. Spurs expect to be difficult to see him involved again this season.
Would take a look at Abraham Odoh from Peterborough as a potential loan next season. Not quite cut it but was a huge prospect in L2 at Harrogate. Remember him causing us issues. Quick winger #gills
🚨 Pep Guardiola: “Luck in life is important, but you have to do something as well to deserve this luck, right?”.
“As much shots you have, 28 shots, and you do this every game, you will have luck to win the games, that's for sure...”
I’ve got a good idea. Let’s change shape to 5 at the back with a striker at right wing back, a right winger at left back, two full backs at wide centre back when we had a centre back on the bench who could have been a straight swap and then let’s all wonder why we concede goals!
@ME8Gills@ha03____ Very hard to determine who could go and where do you cut it off? Let’s say you have 100 seats available but 200 meet the criteria how do you say no to some. Similarly some fans can’t commit to going to every away game for other reasons - doesn’t make them any less of a fan…
No denying shit season. Complete rehaul coming in summer. Hopefully we learn, improve, and build it better. That being said, seeing the potential yesterday with those goals was something to build on. Seeing our fans, as usual, traveling and chanting was something I needed. Thanks for that. At some point soon we’re going to ask for that support for next season with a cool season ticket launch. Wish it was better this season but we move on; look to the World Cup; preseason; friendlies (we have some solid matches); and we go again, together, like we always do. Brad. @TheGillsFC
