@WPerplexed@ZackPolanski@andyburnham The amendment really needed more fleshing out. BUT Jews will not be punished for practicing their faith regardless of whether they're Zionist or not. That is a ridiculous suggestion.
It just means if you're not Zionist, but your synagogue is, you'll be treated as you are too.
@M_B_Levin@JacksonMacmanus I think a state that isn't accepting of people who've lived there for as long as the Palestinians have, and is okay killing innocent civilians and bombing their homes to encourage migration, doesn't deserve to exist.
Being Jewish has nothing to do with this opinion.
@estnonmeaculpa@MothinAli@andyburnham Think for yourself. I've asked you twice why you think the Greens are antisemitic/ racist and you've referred me to opinions by other people.
@WPerplexed@ZackPolanski@andyburnham Because A) the original motion is about ZIONISM as a political ideology, not anything about being Jewish and B) the amendments didn't actually do anything to offer any protection (not that this motion means anyone needs protecting).
@WPerplexed@ZackPolanski@andyburnham Calling Zionism racism is absolutely not the same as calling Jews racist.
That's actually a bit of an antisemitic suggestion to make.
@Kokothecat2 Provide evidence of institutional Jew hating.
Conflating criticism of the Israeli government with an attack on Jews more widely is actually pretty antisemitic from you.
@TheCanMNTBias He had 1 goal in 2 Prem appearances, the assist came in a cup game against Championship opposition.
I watched him play for you guys in the WC and was really underwhelmed with his performances.
Again, I'm really happy he's doing well, and I was always ready to welcome him back.
@RabbiZvi 'He doesn't do anything Jewish' - and you follow his day to day life do you?
Zionism in modern context means to support Israel's attacks on Palestine. Polanski has only ever been critical of Israel military actions - despite everybody desperate to say he hates Jews.
