From January to June 2026 @AnthropicAI banned 11.4 million accounts. 398k people appealed and only 42k got accepted. That's 10.6%. They posted these numbers themselves.

Refunds are basically dead too. Their policy now is if you get banned they don't owe you anything. Even if they kill the account the day after you paid. I paid for half a year and the month I already paid for is just gone.

I`ve been paying for @claudeai for over half a year now. Didn't do anything weird, didn't break any rules, just regular work. Then today at 2am I get the email. Account's gone. No reason, no warning, nothing about what I supposedly did.

Same night a bunch of my friends got the exact same letter. Different accounts, different jobs, all banned around the same time. Doesn't really feel like moderation, more like they just wiped a bunch of people at once.

And the stupid part is the models are still the best at pretty much everything. I don't wanna just move to @ChatGPT and act like it's fine. That side almost never does this kind of stuff, but the output isn't the same and anyone who actually uses both knows it.

I sent an appeal and made a new accounts (They'll ban you anyway, why follow the rules?). We'll see if that one even lasts the week.

So yeah that's the choice right now. One company, the founder's an asshole, models keep getting worse, limits get cut, and they add a new $500 plan on top. The other one bans you for nothing and keeps the money.

Elon, the Chinese labs, Google, somebody just make the one that works. I'd rather people only complain about AI slop. Not that you have the money and still can't get any work done because every few months they throw something new in the way.
