Alternatively, the ability to say “storm clouds on the horizon” or similar to give a heads up

Two things come to mind:
Sim city had a bit more focus on RCI balance- C:S sometimes feels like you can just build whatever you want and people will come.

Sim city had an unparalleled enthusiasm for llamas. Their whimsy was (once) unmatched.

It was so rich, delicious, and filling that we were unable to finish the plate. The Bavarians at nearby tables kept teasing us for being weak and “not eating” 😭😭😭

@LordsManor @PhrasenWeise I much prefer organic growth to blueprints as well. One thought might be to “unlock” a blueprint once you’ve reached a super-high-tier castle? I think of how Neuschwanstein was built near the old Hohenschwangau; a blueprint castle near an organic growth castle, built later!
