To the Republican majority of the Supreme Court:

You have shown yourself willing to IGNORE precedent, even while the ink was still drying on YOUR decision insisting YOUR unprecedented intervention in an election didn’t affect that precedent.

You’ve blessed willful DEFIANCE of a valid injunction by a lower court — that YOU upheld on appeal — irreparably undermining the rule of law.

And you DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER engaging with the facts found by the lower court — IGNORING the applicable standard of review.

And YOU did it all, seemingly, to advance a partisan agenda to cement YOUR ideological goals.  

But that was BEFORE votes were cast. 

Can we count on you not to torch the Constitution to advance those same interests and goals if the party in power repudiates the will of the voters? What assurance are you making to instill trust in your institution?

History is watching and will judge your actions.

Josh doesn't even mention the worst part of Fetterman's irresponsibility. Because he won't wear a suit, he's *literally not allowed on the Senate floor*. That's where negotiations happen. He just doesn't go. He sits in the hall and signals thumbs up/down through the doorway.

The Senate is very much built on bargains and personal back-and-forth. Fetterman just sits all of it out. He plops himself on a chair in the hallway, alone, scrolling his phone, until an aide taps his shoulder to tell him it's time to peek his head in and vote.

New reports reveal GOP Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp sold 3 lakefront properties shortly after he became governor.

The properties had been listed for over a decade, and the people who bought the properties were later given valuable government contracts and appointed to high-ranking positions.

@MichaelEMcNeil @agraybee Maybe checking easy access areas first, then coming back to locked areas? Not smart, but it would be a bit faster. The other assumption is that maybe they expect the locals to not house criminals. But that’s even stupider, because most Eisley is a criminal hotbed
