@Cisraelson01@csub_techteach1 Hello christy, I read on screencastify and it seems like a great tool to use! You mention a lot and how it should be good for students to create their own progress for their assignments as well as turning it in. Really like that it can be for the students to get help from others.
@csub_techteach1 I would implement screencast-o-matic to my classroom. Itโs a flexible tool for all of us to use because you can edit and record. This software gives students a chance to have extra help of previous lessons up and ready to use at their own time this way they get more help.
@Emsa270 @csub_techteach1 Hey Esmeralda I can say thatโs different but using google forms is a great tool and using it as an exit ticket is good idea. Google slides is also a good tool and putting both together are great for the students. Itโs perfect that youโll also be getting clarification for next day
@csub_techteach1 My favorite tool would be the lesson plan developer but also Kahoot! Each can be implemented in the classroom by handing out a lesson plan for each student so they know the day/week and by using Kahoot they get a bit of fun into all things and will always be ready and excited.
@shyjimi@csub_techteach1 Yes Jynesa, I could definitely say that using google slides is very productive especially for lesson plans and especially if you share it with the students they easily be reminded of what happened in the day as a reminder. I agree it will keep them all on track.
@csub_techteach1 My favorite google tool to use is google forms. I would implement this in the classroom by having the students fill out the form this way Iโm able to use it in a way to get to know my students or have them let me know what can be improved, they deserve to have a voice too.
@Meganmize3@csub_techteach1 Hello Megan Iโm glad your tech quest is coming along great. And Iโll agree the khan academy has been super helpful and will be helpful because of the resources you mention.
@csub_techteach1 My tech quest #3 is coming slowly but great Iโve got a bit more to finish up before this Thursday. The lesson plan quest activity is what I have embedded to session 3 and I have found itโs useful because itโs a easy technique for teachers to use for their students to learn from.
@tsantoyo12@csub_techteach1 Hello Teresa, thatโs how I felt too but Iโm glad you are getting the hang of it. I can see why you poll everywhere would be a good source to meet the cultural needs of students and itโs a possible source I would use in my classroom.
@csub_techteach1 My Tech Quest Portfolio is going pretty well at the moment Iโm working on getting tech Quest #3 prepared for next week. I would say that using google forms would meet the cultural needs of my future students. Because I use their responses to help make the class a diverse place.
@samanthadlt23 @csub_techteach1 Hello Samantha I agree using google forms is a good way to ask students how and which they prefer to learn best and itโs also an in for how us as teachers be of better help to them. We want to make the classroom lessons understandable for each student.
@csub_techteach1 Google forms is a tool I would use in the classroom because it allows for the students to easily let the teacher know so much. Itโs a small form of communication and it allows the students to have so much freedom in their responses. There answers can be long or short as they want
@Emsa270 @csub_techteach1 Iโve never had the opportunity to know what Bookwidgets does but it does seem like a very useful tool that will be implied greatly to the classroom. Allowing them to have that engagement is what will keep those students interested as well as the feedback that comes back to them.
@csub_techteach1 A way to assess the students learning would be using google forms. It is used to allow the students to have easy access to quizzes/assignments assigned to them which will allow me to identify what I can do to help based off how they do/answer. They get to look back at feedback.
@Emsa270 @csub_techteach1 As I have never heard of Nearpod I would definitely take a look into what these features can do as you make them beneficial to classroom. I love that itโs a way for them to engage with the lesson because I know a lot of students prefer having that opportunity.
@csub_techteach1 I would use google slides, I know that mean seem like a normal answer but itโs what I have gotten better utilizing over the years. I would implement this technology in class because it allows future students to have a lesson that contributes to their visual and note taking needs.
@VanessaRM_csub@csub_techteach1 I would also use google slides also because itโs an efficient tool and itโs an easy way for them just learn at their own pace. I agree that using pear deck to engage with students is an effective way to be involved with any of those activities, it would benefit them in many ways.
@csub_techteach1 This actually not the first time Iโve answered this question so this answer comes easily. After reviewing this I would utilize YouTube because there are many interactive videos that can help the students out depending on what the lesson is. Itโs a benefit to their education.
@Emsa270 @csub_techteach1 Personally I love that idea and I feel that involving healthy games to help students learn is very beneficial. As I had that personal experience with jeopardy I feel that this would definitely suit your class and the students would benefit.
@csub_techteach1 I would love to involve Kahoot in my classroom because the times Iโve been in a setting where the kids use this tool it seems to be beneficial. This could be a study guide or just a fun tool that gives the students a healthy and fun way to gain insight on the subject at hand.
