@csub_techteach1 Personally I would implement Screencastify or Vimeo into the classroom because it allows students to be able to record their screen rather for recording their progress on assignments, to turn in an assignment, to ask for help, to work with classmates, and so much more!
@MRobledo64@csub_techteach1 Hello Matthew I really enjoyed reading your take about booklet, I personally don’t know much about this tool but your response makes me want to learn more about it!
@csub_techteach1 My favorite tool to implement within lesson plans would have to be Kahoot, because it is a fun way to get students engaged and excited about what they are learning. They are able to play a fun game with their classmates while also learning about what they are being taught!
@Emsa270 @csub_techteach1 Hi Esmeralda! I agree, google slides is a great tool for teaching or for student use and you make a good point of being able to share the slides with other students for group projects or for students to work together!
@csub_techteach1 My favorite google tool would have to be google slides, it is an awesome tool for both teachers and students to be able to use! Teachers are able to teach lessons through presentations or students can make presentations showing what they have learned!
@odalisr1999@csub_techteach1 Hi odalis! I also liked the idea of using a game to teach students different lessons while also keeping them engaged! It is important that students are interested in what is being taught so they want to learn!
@csub_techteach1 Tech quest 3 is going okay, but I am having a little difficulty with some links and hyperdoc, it was not working for me. But the rest is going good! My favorite activity so far is 56, it is useful to find various ways of teaching such as with games to interest the students!
@KayleenR412@csub_techteach1 Hi Kayleen! I feel that google forms is a great tool to be able to learn more about students and their cultures and who they are as an individual. Get to know them better who they are, their beliefs, their experiences, culture, etc.!
@csub_techteach1 I feel that my TechQuest Portfolio has been coming along good. I feel that Google Earth or Google Maps is a good tool in exploring different cultures with the ability to search different places and see how they look also explore/research more about different cultures and places!
@isidromoralesss@csub_techteach1 I think Prezi is also an awesome tool to use for presentations rather teachers using to make presentations for their students or students using for assignments. This is also a great tool for students to make a presentation based on lessons to see what they have learned!
@csub_techteach1 I would use Google forms. This is an awesome tool that allows for students to get long or short answer responses they can give teachers feedback, let them know what they like or dislike, topics they’d like to learn more about etc. I could incorporate student replies into lessons!
@odalisr1999@csub_techteach1 I am also with you as I don’t know many grading tools out there, but I feel I have a good understanding of canvas and it can be a very good tool for grading as you can give students quizzes or assignments to see how well they are understanding and give them feedback :)!
@csub_techteach1 I would utilize canvas as a grading tool as I don’t know much out there. With canvas you can give students quizzes and assignments based on what is being taught and see their answers allowing you to see how well they are understanding, you can grade and give feedback to them also.
@RubiGalvez13@csub_techteach1 Hi Rubi I also think Prezi is a good website to use, the set up and the way the slides move can help engage students more and it’s a nice change for students. I also plan on using google slides they give a lot of options when it comes to making presentations :).
@csub_techteach1 For presenting within the classroom I would use Google Slides to create an engaging lesson for students. They give you many options such as the way the slides move, background colors or images, you can also put videos and such on them, make themes and much more! :)
@MayaCsub23@csub_techteach1 Hi Maya! I think that is an awesome way of teaching students through YouTube videos there are so many different videos on YouTube that can get students engaged and interact with while they are learning :).
@csub_techteach1 The two main technology tools I plan to use within my classroom are canvas and google slides. Having canvas would allow me to keep assignments and due dates organized for students and slides allows me to teach and have notes available for students to visually see what is taught.
@Emsa270 @csub_techteach1 Hi Esmeralda! I remember watching jeopardy as a kid with my grandma, this is such a smart idea to use this in classrooms as well! Having students answering questions, similar idea to kahoot, another fun way to learn!
