Great conversation this evening with UK Opposition Leader @KemiBadenoch and Shadow Foreign Secretary @TomTugendhat.
I thanked them for their firm opposition to the hostile Labour Government’s announcement today and its series of anti-Israel policies since taking office.
I welcomed their support for the friendship with Israel and their commitment for the future relations between our countries. We know that we have many friends in the UK, but unfortunately we are faced with the ongoing hostility of the current Labour government.
I also thanked Kemi for her warm wishes ahead of the Jewish New Year.
As the British government considers forcing British companies to boycott portions of Israel, it should be aware that a Florida law that I passed as a member of the Legislature would ban any British company forced to comply from doing business with any state or local government in Florida.
It would also end any British business participating in that boycott from doing any business in Florida if it needed any official interaction with state or local government to operate (permits, tax collection).
Florida is one of Britain’s largest trading partners. They should understand that their vanity project in support of Muslim terror could cost them billions of dollars.
And for those who doubt the power of this policy, it was this same law that broke Airbnb’s misguided effort to boycott portions of Israel in 2019. They realized that this law would have bankrupted their company.
Florida has made it clear. Any company — or nation — that boycotts Israel is boycotted by Florida.
Hezbollah has already committed five ceasefire violations.
Israel expects full compliance with the ceasefire.
Hezbollah continues to breach the ceasefire and threaten IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians, including by launching a hostile aircraft toward IDF forces and crossing the Forward Defense Line to approach soldiers, posing an immediate danger.
“Pay-for-slay” is still ongoing.
Even after promises of reforms, the Palestinian Authority is still rewarding convicted terrorists.
This is incentivizing violence and terror.

Equating a sovereign UN member state with a jihadist terrorist organization is yet another proof of the UN Secretary-General’s failure.
The UN has failed to disarm Hezbollah and failed to uphold its own Security Council Resolution 1701.
Hezbollah is the enemy of both Israel and Lebanon, serving as the Iranian regime’s proxy to dominate Lebanon.
@antonioguterres should stand firmly behind genuine Israel–Lebanon peace efforts, not offer excuses for Hezbollah.
40 days under fire.
Iran’s terror regime and its proxy in Lebanon, Hezbollah, shot at Israeli cities - at families.
Sirens became routine.
Fear became normal.
42 murdered.
Dear High Rep., these are the facts:
Since Hezbollah began its attacks unprovoked on March 2nd, it has indiscriminately fired roughly 6,500 missiles, rockets and drones at Israeli communities and citizens.
The IDF action yesterday in Lebanon was a precise strike, based on intelligence, aimed at dozens of terror targets: Hezbollah command centers manned by terrorists, weapons depots and launch sites.
The vast majority of the casualties were Hezbollah terrorists. No other military in the world is able to strike so precisely with minimal civilian casualties.
Dear High Rep., this action was far more precise than in any other war you’re familiar with.
Your call to extend the ceasefire to Lebanon is exactly the Iranian terror regime’s position. It makes Lebanon not just de-facto under Iranian occupation. It makes Lebanon de-jure Iranian territory. The US already made it clear that Lebanon is not part of the deal.
You claimed that Hezbollah “agreed to disarm”. When did that happen???
The opposite is true. Time and again Hezbollah declared they won’t.
You claim the EU “supports Lebanon’s efforts to disarm Hezbollah”. Unfortunately, despite its commitment to do so in the November 2024 ceasefire - the Lebanese government hadn’t done that, as we can all clearly see today.
Ridiculously enough, Hezbollah ministers still serve in the Lebanese government!
Lebanon’s president and prime minister have no shame in attacking Israel for doing what they should have done: striking Hezbollah.
After thousands of attacks on Israel from their territory, they offer no apology - and rather come with demands.
They did not disarm Hezbollah. They did not and do not prevent it from firing on Israel. They lied when they claimed they had demilitarized the area up to the Litani.
Now we must do it instead of them.
Hezbollah ministers still serve in the Lebanese government, and the Iranian ambassador remains in Beirut, openly defying their own decisions.
It is time to start acting against Hezbollah. In deeds, not words. And if you are incapable of doing so - at least do not get in the way.
Prime Minister’s Office:
Israel supports President Trump's decision to suspend strikes against Iran for two weeks subject to Iran immediately opening the straits and stopping all attacks on the US, Israel and countries in the region.
Hezbollah villages in southern Lebanon have been turned by the Iranian regime’s proxy into military strongholds used to launch repeated attacks on Israeli civilians across the border. This ongoing aggression must stop.
By choking the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranian regime is weaponizing global energy and holding the world economy hostage.
This is the Mullahs’ formula for geopolitical blackmail.
The Houthis in Yemen are yet another tentacle of the Iranian terror regime. As an Iranian proxy, they are launching unprovoked missile and drone attacks toward civilian populations in Israel, while further destabilizing the region.
We appreciate that UNICEF is at last acknowledging the Iranian regime’s appalling recruitment of children into its insane war machine - a barbaric violation that demands clear condemnation and urgent action.
Inside homes in southern Lebanon: anti-tank missiles, RPGs, rockets, and assault rifles.
Hezbollah is embedding its arsenal within civilian areas - putting lives at risk.
Hezbollah fired 165 rockets at and around UNIFIL posts in southern Lebanon.
This isn’t random - Hezbollah deliberately targets UN posts and personnel for their political and propaganda needs.
Hezbollah must be stopped and disarmed.
Hezbollah has turned entire villages in southern Lebanon into military strongholds, using them to fire directly at Israeli civilians and homes across the border.
As the Lebanese government and army have failed to meet their obligation to disarm Hezbollah, Israel must act to neutralize these bastions and protect its population.
The photos shown are from northern Israel, illustrating the impact on communities under attack.
