I love Indianapolis. Mental Health Activist. Former Politician. Radical Left. Feed the Hungry. Decriminalize Addiction. Abortion is Healthcare. 🏳️🌈 Ally.
Just a note in accordance with my employer's "Political Activities Policy"...I have never spoken for my employer, I disagree with the admin more than I'd like to because they are more interested in virtue signaling to regressive politicians.
I speak for myself.
@Donaldwebb33552@jstewartIndy Conservatives worried about $6m all the while watching a president torch a billion a week on frivolous bullshit.
If a business needs someone to not to have to walk 6 feet, it’s a failed business anyways.
>Close ally plagued with sexual harassment allegations
>Wants to fully fund police
>Supports charter schools
>Hates Ryan Mears
>Doesn’t want to raise taxes
Is Joe Hogsett Indy’s first Republican mayor since Goldsmith?
It sucks that it is that way but I can literally buy a frame with a mat cut to order on Amazon for $30. Last time I had Michaels do this they wanted about what you quoted.
Like most people, I want to support small businesses but I also have to consider the fact that an extra $100 could go to an outing with the kids.
I don’t like small businesses going under either. For frames, I go to Goodwill on the north side and usually find several that sit in storage until I find a use. I’ve had places like this cut glass as I don’t care to do it at home with kids and pets.
As for Jockamos, don’t confuse voting with your dollar with bullying. I won’t go back. There are a dozen pizza places as good as or better on the east side. I never heard ANYONE tell others not to go there. And I was a big part of the Blue Line advocacy. Might have to get Futuro tonight.
@AttyAbdul I get the same thing. So why do so many care about my hot takes and why do I have politicians from both sides calling me.
My theory — People are afraid of anyone they can’t control.

AES just canceled tonight’s meeting to avoid answering for the BlackRock buyout. They’re claiming "security threats"—it’s a lie to avoid the public.
I’ve been warning you about the AES-BlackRock-Data Center connection for a year. This deal is a 50% rate hike, plain and simple.
The GOP waited for the session to end to endorse this, and corporate Democrats rolled over. They can cancel a meeting, but they can't cancel the election.
Vote for someone who actually shows up.

He lobbied for this when he was in congress because it will save him $100k a year in gas from his warehouses in southern Indiana. He made certain that he would use eminent domain to take land from farmers — often leaving their grazing fields broken in half with absolutely no way to get from one side to the other.
It was a stupid project then and it has gotten worse since he's taken power.
@jstewartIndy I mean I’ve been at the meetings pissing off their spokesmen for over a year.
No trillion dollar company should get tax incentives to hire out of state workers while the rest of us are left holding the bag — as well as an estimated 50% utility bill.

I think you are purposely misunderstanding leftism.
Almost all calls for abolishing happen when agencies refuse to allow reform. You mention ICE…it’s built around militarization of civilian agencies as was most of DHS. All this could be abolished and reabsorbed back into their pre-2001 agencies where the rule of law and civil rights reigned supreme.
Policing in general…we have a bill that is championed by the FOP to rid civilian oversight being argued this week. I fought for this board and friends have sat on it. I’m not someone calling to abolish it…but given that they rail heavily against any reform? You can’t be too confused why folks say get rid of it and start over. Again…not my stance.
There is a reason leftists are for fully public education — it IS reformable. And the folks in it are begging for it. That’s the difference.
Killing someone who is in custody already never makes sense. Granted, it might be because my Christianity tells me killing is a mortal sin. If they are a truly horrible person, irredeemable…just put them in jail and let the outside world forget about them. Don’t give them infamy.
