@_macsworld@best_mane5 Brother congrats you got the first half of his character arc, he is a 12-year-old with the weight of the world on his shoulders, watch it again and remember the second part.
@paizo I enjoy the world in setting and getting to enjoy that with my friends. I like the robust system that helps me tell the story I want to tell. It's nice to have meaningful character options when creating one in leveling up
@PatStaresAt A few hours in, playing on the harder difficulty, and it's pretty mindless and easy, I'm not a fan of the new characters so far. It's just fantasy Mass Effect which fine for some but not what I want from Dragon age
@Psycho_P_Adour GM's should be able to say no to some stuff, and the narrative pushed that the GM should say yes and to EVERYTHING the players suggest can be disruptive and tiring as a GM to deal with, but hey the culture doesn't treat GM's as players.
@Psycho_P_Adour That is an annoying thing, I don't know about ThatBronzeGirl but a person who replied to her I know for a fact have a financial interest and incentive that DnD is big buy making 3rd party content and streaming, so when they defend DnD or the greater hobby it feels kinda weird🙃
@SpicyEncounters I really don't get it, is it a sunk cost? is it cus its the "trendy" option is it the 30-page homebrew that turns it into a different system they would rather be running, I really don't get it
@PatStaresAt My biggest gripe was they open the story to go in any direction, then follow the original plot really tightly, was excited to see them tell a much different story
@Psycho_P_Adour I love the excuse of the "community" as if dragon fans can't be super toxic themselves and give you weird looks because you play other systems
