@fitcja@ChiSoxFanMike Everything with the White Sox is bad because it is bad. It has nothing to do with how much money the Score pays to air Cub games. They describe the state of the White Sox accurately, which includes the new announcer who is a downgrade from the previous announcer.
@ChrisRongey Today he looked great. In 4 games he has looked green once. If the trend continues and 3/4 of the games he looks bad and they get the 1st pick again it’s over, end of story. If this is the start of him turning the corner they won’t have the first pick and it won’t matter anyway.
@chisportfan1@Dzikhead Both Charlotte and Nashville have supported multiple teams for 20 years. Austin is growing by leaps and bounds. The same was said about Vegas
@CHGO_Sports Two reasons. My dad always got Sox tickets and I always liked to go against the grain a bit. Even at 7 I loved that look people gave me when I told them I was a Sox fan.
@Aye_Jay_Jed@DrewBogs623 Black Out game against the Twins is more meaningful, clinched the division. Fun, but it a regular season game in Aug when they were up by like 10 games and after this game they were very ordinary. Better case could be made that this was the peak for this group which is a shame.
@BelgerNelson@darrenrovell@NHLBlackhawks That’s my point. They were blacked out and bad. When they were blacked out and decent they were supported. Saying Chicago fans are front runners is just not accurate. They are actually stupidly loyal to terrible franchises. I say that as a life long Chicago fan
@BelgerNelson@darrenrovell@NHLBlackhawks Actually not true. Historically the Hawks had strong support except for about a 10 year window from 98-08. Also, the Bears have great support and have been bad for the better part of 3 decades, Bulls have solid support, mediocre for 25 years, Cubs always draw.
@ratliff42 @JoshLCantrell@AdamSchefter The Sunday night NFL games are higher rated than the college afternoon games. The Saturday night college games are higher rated than the Saturday afternoon. This is a stupid argument. I’m done. Enjoy drinking in your garage.
