@DrMvandenBrink Looking forward to meeting and welcoming you to this remarkable organization and the amazing people changing cancer care for all at City of Hope.
Such a well deserved honor for Dr Taparra’s pioneering work in NHPI health care disparities to be recognized and him be chosen with select others for the Obama Foundation USA Leaders program. Made my day to see the notice and anticipate more breakthrough work from Dr T!
It’s an honor to finally share I was selected to join the inaugural Leaders USA program at the @ObamaFoundation
I’m working with an incredible team of values-driven changemakers from across the US and USAPI to create local & global change
Mahalo President @BarackObama!

@IshwariaMD@VivekSubbiah A fun option: make a special July 4th decoration with all the candles at your new home- Enjoy it while each person shares a memory from old home and hopes, dreams or plans for adventures in new home. Candles get used, memories and dreams get treasured & shared.. a joy for all!
@ASCOPres@ASCO@DrEricWiner Congratulations Sr Winer for a superb year and welcome Dr Schuchter! Know it will be another year of meaningful advances under your leadership.
We should be requiring summaries of results in all presentation that are for patients- how many per 100 who take the therapy benefit in what ways va standard and how many per 100 have specific side effects. Reporting % improvement vs standard or placebo is not patient centric.
For the trials presented at #asco23 and other major meetings, it’s ok to think for yourself ans ask whether the trial was really well done, rather than just join the crowd. Also BTW, the reason we have “Discussion” after every talk is to ask critical questions.

Setting new trend for comfy (OnCloud) footwear for the ASCO meeting starting today! Off to learn with ‘corrected badge’ as MD+PhD2B - with dissertation moving toward completion but didn’t get done and defended before ASCO’23. Love learning! See you all soon.
@DrMarkham Agree! People including docs need to set a schedule that works for them. The system who now owns the patients need to provide healthy, team based care teams so patients get their needs met too. Need new models to support clinicians and patients which will keep systems healthier.
