Saw a resident put ice in a cup and fill it with coffee so he could immediately chug it at 8pm last night and anytime anyone outside of medicine asks what residency is like, this is the story I will tell them
I am an internal medicine resident in NYC giving it my all caring for patients with #covid_19. This is hard for all the reasons you would expect: it is traumatic, heartbreaking, exhausting.
