#TPLF security shoot and killed a youngster who tried to escape from forced conscription in #Wukro_Maray, #Tigray today. Forced conscription and implementation of a new law that requires the youth to attend mandatory military service are underway in the northern region of #Ethiopia, #Tigray. In attempt to avoid conscription, the youth is leaving the region in droves.
We|I, the familiy of the the victims' are seeking to the #US govenment to take action on those gang groups, and declare them as terrorists.

It has been alleged that an individual identified as “#Stalin_Gebresilassie,” who is a loyal & cadre of the #TPLF_hardliner reportedly residing in the #UnitedStates, has issued threats against #Abune_Natnael following his public opposition to forced conscription in Tigray. According to the statement, Abune Natnael was given a three-day ultimatum to issue an apology by the individual above.
Such allegations, if accurate, raise serious concerns regarding intimidation, transnational threats, and the broader implications for human rights and freedom of expression.
In this regard, I respectfully urge the @USEmbassyAddis to review the publicly available video and any related evidence. Should it be established that an individual residing within the United States is engaging in or promoting coercion or threats, I kindly request that the appropriate U.S. authorities assess the matter in accordance with applicable laws and take any necessary action.
The principles of accountability, rule of law, and respect for human rights must be upheld consistently and without exception.

In Tigray, many young people are being forced by the #TPLF_hardliner into military conscription against their will. This action has created widespread terror and anxiety across the Tigray society. Following the migration of many youth to different countries of central east, the remaining young people have become a source of heavy anxiety for parents. The violation of rights and the social crisis in Tigray continue to worsen. @USEmbassyAddis, @SecRubio and the @EUinEthiopia should push further to prevent this social crises and possible war.
