@AndhraNexus In fact VER comprises of total 10 districts up to East Godavari. Where are the plans to develop cities like Rajahmundry, Kakinada which are believed as neglected by the govt.? Godavari region People want Kakinada be developed into a major industrial hub with State govt. support.

May be the new one itself most likely to be used for civil aviation purpose, as it is just 40 km from Anantapuram city.

@AndhraNexus It's not just because of one KIA investment. 2 major factors that became Plus points for ATP district are- availability of vast land parcels at cheaper price and Massive, Full Support/ Lift being given by the government big heads for political reasons.

@AndhraNexus Among the proposed 9, one at Annavaram will attract more footfalls beyond any doubt. Why? It's imp. industrial belt (Kakinada to Nakkapalli) with giants like AM green Ammonia, AMG metals, Coromandal, KSEZ, 3 ports, Bulk drug park, AMNS steel plant, Divis+ lacs of Kkd. population.

@AP_CRDANews In A.P. also they can make it as Visakhapatnam- Kakinada, two port cities, instead of concentrating on one city (just like in Odisha, Tamilnadu).
