I thank His Majesty King Charles III for the audience. It is important for me to have the opportunity to personally thank him for his unwavering support for Ukraine. We appreciate all the assistance provided by the United Kingdom.

Lovely to spend some time catching up with the wonderful ladies Higham’s Knit and Natter group, who have been incredibly busy knitting blankets, toys, hats and other lovely items for the orphanages and children’s facilities we proudly support in Ukraine. 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇦

Some personal news!

Incredibly humbled that my colleagues voted to award me the Freedom of the Borough. As someone born and bred in Gravesend, it means the world to be awarded the highest honour my community can bestow. Serving my hometown remains the privilege of a lifetime.

[Boris Johnson @BorisJohnson]

It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.

If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.

[Boris Johnson @BorisJohnson]

It is vital that the West is clear about Ukraine’s ultimate destiny - they want to be a free sovereign independent country - and part of the West. We should welcome and support that.

A horrific night for Ukraine. Russia again used ballistic missiles to target energy as winter nears. Civilians, including children, were killed in attacks across the country. We stand with Ukraine and continue supporting efforts to protect its skies.

[Cllr. Jordan Meade 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @MeadeJordan]

@RussianEmbassy It is high time the Kremlin’s wicked propagandists at the @RussianEmbassy were expelled from London.

@Ed_Miliband the UK should not be a platform for a savage regime responsible for the murder of children to spread its disinformation from the heart of our capital. #Pryluky

[Cllr. Jordan Meade 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @MeadeJordan]

Very much thinking of everyone in the Chernihiv Region after the devastating attack that has injured many. Children are once again amongst the dead. When will the world wake up and take action against the Russian Terrorists.

Not every day do you find yourself in a medieval crypt in Kent, interviewing one of the defining voices of Ukraine.

It was truly a privilege to have you with us #SadSvit - An unforgettable evening raising funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine 🇺🇦

❗️Unfortunately, two people were killed in Sumy today as a result of a hostile strike.

They are an elderly woman and a 16-year-old girl.

The enemy attacked the city again with three guided aerial bombs. One of the strikes hit near the building of the Family and Children Support Center. The building is damaged. There were no visitors there at the time of the strike.

Five more people were injured, including one child.

Russia has found a way to overwhelm Ukraine's air defences with Iranian drones and Chinese engines. Kyiv is bracing for its hardest winter yet.

$300bn of Russian assets sit frozen in western banks. We must now put them to work for Ukraine.

What do we call it when Shaheds hit civilian trains?

[Cllr. Jordan Meade 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @MeadeJordan]

Four years ago today, we were coming to terms with the loss of Queen Elizabeth II.

Securing this statue by Douglas Jennings for Gravesend, unveiled during Her Late Majesty’s lifetime, remains a source of immense personal pride and honour.

[Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський @ZelenskyyUa]

Thank you to the United Kingdom for a new defence contribution of £100 million – the “winter package” – to PURL. This support will be channelled, in particular, toward the procurement of additional Patriot interceptors, which is an absolute priority amid Russia’s unrelenting attacks on critical infrastructure and life itself. The strikes since last night and into today alone have claimed 2 lives and left 23 people wounded in Kyiv. We also value our active cooperation across other areas: localising Storm Shadow production in Ukraine, joint work on drones and AI, and much more.

I thank Prime Minister Andy Burnham @andyburnham, Defence Secretary Wes Streeting @wesstreeting, Parliament, and all the people of Britain for your unwavering support – in many ways, leading the way among our partners. Our recent bilateral negotiations with the Prime Minister and Defence Secretary in Kyiv centred on air defence, and I am grateful for this prompt decision today, ahead of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group meeting co-chaired by the UK.

[British Ambassador to Ukraine 🇬🇧🇺🇦 @UKAmbUkraine]

Kyiv and other cities have been under Russian missile and drone attack all night.
The air raid alert is still continuing as smoke fills the sky and people head to work.
The UK is providing £100m for PURL initiative to help Ukraine procure interceptors, including PAC-3 for Patriot

Like many across the Gravesham community tonight, I am deeply saddened to learn of the fatalities in Cobham. My thoughts & prayers are with the families & loved ones of the victims. @kent_police are appealing for witnesses: https://t.co/UfTQl4W4Sc

Following Leipzig, we must see stronger resolve in Europe.

Russia wages an illegal war, commits war crimes, abducts Ukrainian children, slaughters their own and threatens peace in Europe.

Time to slash their diplomatic footprint & hold enablers of Russian crimes to account.

[Russian Embassy, UK @RussianEmbassy]

💬 Chargé d’Affaires Vasily Tsyganov was invited to @FCDOGovUK, where he received a protest alleging Russia’s involvement in the drone incident at Leipzig Airport.

These baseless and absurd accusations were categorically rejected.

Why does the West forget? 😢

[British Ambassador to Ukraine 🇬🇧🇺🇦 @UKAmbUkraine]

Today is the first day of school in Ukraine. But last night, Russian attacks killed at least 12 people and injured children.

This morning, many more children went to school sleep-deprived, in fear of hearing the alert again.
