Liberal, feminist, northerner.
Got mad at twitter, deleted and now 10yrs of profile are gone. Here's a picture of my cat, because she's all I take pictures of
I was a scrutineer for the credentials table. If a person could not prove their residence, they were not allowed to vote. Some people expected to support my candidate were denied and some expected to support Nate were denied. A person alleging irregularities had better have real evidence. #onpoli
We need to engage youth in choosing a new leader. The rules OLP is proceeding with allow for that.
Worth noting I think that a leadership race does not preclude those of us on Team Neutral from continuing the work of building local capacity provincewide. Allons-y!
The @OYLorg has spent months advocating for a leadership race that creates the opportunity to grow our membership and mobilize Young Liberals across the province. These rules were designed to do exactly that.
Let the race begin!
@TorontoHydro UPDATE: Crews have determined that a raccoon made contact with our equipment at a downtown Toronto station. We’re in the process of working with @torontohydro to restore power. We appreciate everyone’s patience.
So far today whilst trying to book a flight, I have got a 502 error, a 503 error, and a 504 error & 3 other dialogue box errors on the actual site. Another friend, Toronto-based, can only select departures from DC.
This isn't the Eras Tour, @porterairlines. Get it together.
@J_Scott_ What a concept. It has long made me a little crazy when we, liberals, lead with sentiment when the real story is the economic impact. Why would we let letting Ford define where the political center is?
Left, right, and center are only real places for the politically involved. Everyone else just wants things to go smoothly and for it not to be too expensive.
I really like the part about how the political center isn’t some fixed place like Mecca, it’s created. I would however add that it’s not created by bickering about ideological purity, or by just moving to the left or right.
It is #PrideMonth and this is the story of the Brunswick Four!
On Jan. 5, 1974, Adrienne Potts, Pat Murphy, Sue Wells and Heather Elizabeth were at the Brunswick Tavern in Toronto. Dealing with unwanted attention from male patrons, they chose to respond with a song.

@MikePMoffatt@Uranowski The enormous condo towers going up along Dupont are already slowing traffic and will change my neighborhood significantly as tens of thousands of people move in the next couple years… But what’s the option? We can’t just not build housing & infrastructure.
Uhh, @handongontario has been part of the Liberal fam for as long as I can remember. I think it hardly fair to say he emerged suddenly or suspiciously. He was a great colleague, people like him, so they helped get him elected.
3. According to my sources, CSIS started tracking Han Dong, a former Ontario MPP, in summer 2019. They said CSIS believed that Dong emerged suddenly and suspiciously as a successor to MP Geng Tan as the Liberal candidate for Don Valley North.
@josh_kolic I choose to imagine that ministers zoning orders were the prizes being bid on, all wrapped up nice in little gift baskets by the bridesmaids, and no one will convince me otherwise.
NEW: Premier Doug Ford this morning is acknowledging that his daughter's stag and doe had "$150" tickets.
"It was a regular stag," the premier said, adding that "no one influences the Fords."
