Opinion | The SNP's Holyrood election win is tainted by the Peter Murrell guilty plea.
Scots voted on May 7th without the crucial knowledge of the former SNP CEO's corruption.

Ironic that the great Scottish Nationalist Nicola Sturgeon did her first interview after Peter Murrell's guilty plea with UK media
She knows Scottish media would have scrutinised her more
Too many pro-indy politicians love Scotland until its journalists hold them to account
The funny thing is these folk hoping/praying that a Westminster committee trying to investigate an opposition party they can't beat at the ballot box will be a good look for them...
Exclusive: Two more Scottish Affairs Committee members want it to hold a probe into the SNP's finances.
Lib Dems Susan Murray and Angus MacDonald said "there is more to find out."
Over a third of the committee now backs an inquiry.

Wes Streeting's Scottish allies are to campaign for Andy Burnham in the Makerfield by-election.
Melanie Ward and Gordon McKee will support the Greater Manchester Mayor's bid to return to the Commons, even though Mr Streeting also wants the leadership.

A Labour source has floated to me the idea of their party and the Lib Dems sitting as one group at Holyrood for administrative purposes.
The thinking is it would put to bed who the second largest "party" is at Holyrood.
Decided to play Fantasy First Minister, with a new government reshuffle.
I don't actually expect anything like this, for example, there'll be more Cab Secs etc etc
Prior to the Hamilton by-election, it seemed obvious that the SNP needed a win to provide much needed momentum.
In hindsight, losing was the best thing that could have happened…
Angry Labour insiders on poor result at Holyrood election. Whenever a strategy was questioned, Hamilton was the answer offered. But what works in a resource-intensive by-election, those critics argue, cannot necessarily simply be scaled up. Indeed. https://t.co/ZEZ2b3ZpuO
Here is where I use a much broader and I think more comparable definition of Edinburgh. Still quite an astonishing performance compared to similar sized cities of England. https://t.co/h0d3SWisp7
Edinburgh now has the highest GDP per capita of any UK city. Since 2008 Scotland’s productivity growth has been double that of the UK.
You should try visiting here more often @afneil rather than writing specious drivel from France.
Scottish Labour have had 19 years to brainstorm a way to beat the SNP at Holyrood.
Sarwar’s great idea was “Gimme 5!”
The cognitive dissonance among Sarwar’s cheerleaders is off the charts.
Opinion | The SNP victory was made in Downing Street by a hapless Prime Minister.
"Sarwar could have promised voters twenty grand each and they still would have shouted at him about the Prime Minister and voted SNP or Reform."

@conor_matchett This is obviously a lie. We know it as such because you can't reject votes in an election as First Minister. All Sarwar would say if he received Reform votes is that he didn't want them, but hey ho.
