@DoctorVenni_MD I am actually of the impression no communication of ranking should occur for all parties. The program i matched at ultimately did that and it felt I did not have to play a game. Besides it probably messes with the applicants rank list when they are “ranked to match”.
@jbcarmody Always found it foolish as the reason the scores are higher is the prep books identify the questions they ask. Who cares if 100% of people pass. If you demonstrate a certain competency then that should be it. Should not make it so people intentionally fail for knowing more.
@laxswamy But to be fair listening to Fox News and politicians with zero medical knowledge over trained professionals is sort of foolish. Personally I think these people spread anti vax nonsense should legally be accountable for their statements. That would stop them from spreading lies.
@AdamRodmanMD I think a study for an annual physical found vitals, pulse and listening to cardiac sounds to be the only thing we do that has evidence. I agree. We should move to make the exam evidence driven not a routine dance to appear like we are helping the patient.
@AmyLaskyMD I think this highlights a bigger system issue that we as a society use BMI only and not body metrics to determine someone’s health. Also people online post false metrics of their weight and measurements which further adds to the problem.
@JoeBiden My child is both thankful you are our president and seems to think you left us a leaf pillow? She’s making a thank you card now. Three year old minds.
