पंजाब में आम आदमी पार्टी सरकार से जुड़े बंगलों को लेकर विवाद खड़ा हो गया है। आरोप है कि सरकार की ओर से नौ मंत्रियों को आवंटित किए गए बंगलों में संबंधित मंत्री नहीं रह रहे हैं, बल्कि आम आदमी पार्टी से जुड़े दिल्ली के नेताओं और अन्य लोगों के रहने की बात सामने आ रही है।

कांग्रेस विधायक सुखपाल खैरा ने आरोप लगाया है कि दिल्ली से पंजाब आए AAP नेताओं और पार्टी से जुड़े लोगों को ऐसे सरकारी बंगले उपलब्ध कराए गए हैं, जो आधिकारिक रिकॉर्ड में पंजाब सरकार के मंत्रियों के नाम पर आवंटित हैं।

इस पूरे मामले में आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल का नाम भी चर्चा में है। आरोप के मुताबिक, मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान को आवंटित अतिरिक्त बंगले में केजरीवाल के रहने की बात कही जा रही है।

Delhi Police say, "A total of five complaints have been received by the Delhi Police regarding this matter so far. One of these complaints was filed by Sahib Singh, an associate of Jarnail Singh. Two complaints were lodged by PWD personnel against Jarnail Singh and others. Meanwhile, two complaints were filed by BJP workers regarding the mistreatment of Minister Parvesh Verma. All five complaints were submitted to the Vikaspuri and Tilak Nagar police stations in Delhi. The Delhi Police is investigating all the complaints. As of now, no FIR has been registered based on any of the complaints. The road on both sides falls under the jurisdiction of the Vikaspuri police station, whereas the Gurudwara falls under the jurisdiction of the Tilak Nagar police station."

Good news for Prepaid Mobile Users in India

The Govt just introduced Telecom Consumer Protection (Thirteenth Amendment) Regulations, 2026, consumers will now have:

• 30-day recharge plans, reducing the need for 13 monthly recharges to 12 in a year
• Voice and SMS-only plans for those who do not need data
• More suitable options for low-budget consumers who primarily need basic voice calls

Many of you had shared your concerns with me about limited and inflexible recharge options. I raised this issue in Parliament on 11th March, seeking greater choice and more affordable options for consumers.

I am grateful to the Government of India and TRAI for resolving these concerns in the interest of greater consumer choice and convenience.

He called me around 1.15 PM today and asked me to show him the road—he claimed it was well-constructed and questioned why I kept complaining about it. When I showed him the road, the surface actually came off in my hand. The Minister could not tolerate this... He flew into a rage when he saw Sahib Singh recording a video of the entire incident... I exposed the truth to everyone by pulling off a piece of the road, and the BJP's cameras were immediately switched off. However, our camera was still running; this infuriated the Minister so much that he slapped the person [holding it] across the face... Now, the person who delivered the slap is sitting safely in his bungalow under police protection, while the person who was slapped is in police custody. What kind of justice is this?..." (27.09)

He did not expect the reality of the road to come to light. At that moment, the MLA picked up a piece of the road, and it crumbled in his hand like a 'papad'... he couldn't handle it. He snatched my phone, twisted my arm, and slapped me. Afterward, he had the BJP goons accompanying him beat and threaten me; he issued threats himself as well... Can no one even ask a question these days? What are the youth of the country supposed to do?... A copy of our complaint was accepted, but an FIR is not being registered against the Minister. We demand that, at the very least, an FIR be registered against him and appropriate further action be taken."

#WATCH | On the occasion of Daughter’s Day, the Delhi Police South District organised a Self-Defence Techniques Programme for female students.

A large number of female students from various colleges across Delhi participated in the programme. During the event, the students were provided important information related to women’s safety and were also trained in various self-defence techniques. They were also briefed about cyber fraud and the precautions that can be taken to stay safe from such crimes.

Delhi Police officials explained how students can protect themselves in emergency situations, identify potential threats, and use necessary self-defence techniques when required.

The objective of the programme was to boost confidence among female students and create greater awareness about their personal safety.

During the programme, Delhi Police officials and trainers also interacted with the students and briefed them about various women’s safety helpline numbers and police assistance. (27.09)

#WATCH | Delhi: On a video showing him slapping a local youth during a road inspection row in Tilak Nagar, Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma says, "You should know the truth behind a video currently being circulated by the Aam Aadmi Party. Road construction work has been underway on the Vikaspuri Ring Road for the past several days. The local MLA, Jarnail Singh, had been pressuring PWD engineers to introduce him to the contractor and arrange for a commission for him; he had been making this demand for quite some time. Our engineer has lodged a complaint at the police station and is getting an FIR registered. Because Jarnail Singh did not receive any commission, he would go to the site in the morning—after the road was laid at night—and tear it up; he would then record and post videos claiming that corruption was taking place. Today, while passing through that route, I told the engineers that I wanted to inspect the work myself. When I stopped and examined the site, I saw that the work was progressing very well. Local residents told me that this road had not been built for 15 years; it was finally being constructed after a decade and a half... I personally called the local MLA, Jarnail Singh, three times. I waited for him for 45 minutes. I had not called any of our own party workers to the site. When Jarnail Singh arrived, he came with his own workers who had been informed in advance, and he immediately began behaving rudely. When one of his workers started hurling abuses at my family, I reacted just as anyone would in the heat of the moment. I want to tell the Aam Aadmi Party that our government is doing today what you failed to accomplish; that is why it is causing you such heartburn..."
