Buc-ee’s just sued a tiny corner store in Beavercreek, Ohio over a cartoon beaver and its name.

Beaver’s Mini Mart has been sitting in that neighborhood for over two decades. Buc-ee’s opened its first Ohio store this spring.

A multi-billion-dollar Texas chain that builds 74,000 sq ft cathedrals to gas and beef jerky is now trying to crush a mom-and-pop carryout because the city is literally named Beavercreek and the store used… a beaver.

This isn’t trademark protection. This is corporate bullying dressed up as brand defense. They’re burning every ounce of goodwill they spent years manufacturing with clean bathrooms and branded merch.

People who once drove hours for the “Buc-ee’s experience” are now watching a giant pick on the local corner store that was there first.

You don’t get to roll into some place, plant your flag, then demand the locals stop using the animal their town is named after.

I actually liked the business model and things I have heard about Buc-we’d until I saw this. Don’t try to be the beaver that thinks it owns every other beaver.

Here’s my experience on a DC jury: Black thug on trial for firearms violation.

Three black female jurors tell the rest of us that they will refuse to convict because he could be their son or grandson (which was probably true).

Four white jurors, all liberal (three females and a beta male), one a former Clinton USAID appointee, all want to convict because anyone accused of a gun violation should go to prison, and this defendant has a record. The former USAID official doesn’t want the trial to last long because she has a golf meet at Congressional Country Club.

In public, some would have been big DEI virtue signalers, but not if it meant cutting into their private time.

The last two are a black guy and me. He’s an engineer at the Pentagon. He looks at facts. We both agree that the police work was poor and the prosecutors provided wrong evidence (said the weapon was a .44 but I asked to see it, and it was a .45). Huge difference. Plus other sloppy evidence.

The two of us wanted to convict but were persuaded by the evidence to acquit.

The white liberals didn’t mind that the evidence was wrong. They wanted to convict and leave.

The three black women were going to acquit regardless of evidence.

All the jurors were too old to have been under the DC curriculum, but it was a case of how thoughtless and biased a DC jury pool can be.

As for the judge, his strict instructions were to reach a verdict based on whether the evidence showed that the suspect had violated various DC laws on “possession” and “carrying.” He declined our requests, twice, to read how the law defines the terms.

The judge just wanted a quick conviction to create case law to undermine the Heller decisions.

It gets worse. Our government has been so deep in the cover up of autism that it has outlawed the use of virtually every drug that practitioners and parents have discovered to improve the symptoms of autism. Just like The Dallas Buyers Club which was the underground network that provided patients with AIDS drugs that Tony Fauci had outlawed, for years an underground network of practitioners have been risking their licenses by providing real solutions to autistic children that were outlawed by our own health agencies.

When the FDA, under the leadership of @SecKennedy approved Leucovorin, it was more than just an approval of a drug it was a tectonic shift in a culture of lies and deceit that have left millions helpless. If this drug works for a single child with autism, like the one described in this video,then the real cause of autism is within reach.

It’s time for the FDA to immediately start researching treatments like Rerum, Suramin and Chlorine Dioxide. It’s also time to start investigating the criminals who blocked access to treatments that could have improved the lives of millions of people with autism.
