‘Padma shri award recipient -Sri Harekala Hajabba’, a fruit seller how he built a school ,with his hard earned money. Here ‘YCP Govt in AP’ is closing Govt aided schools & colleges.
8) When will the govt release the DSE notification? When will it fulfill the vacant teaching positions across the existing govt institutions? Is this not logical that first you recruit teachers and lecturers before thinking of taking over aided schools and colleges?
7) For those schools that are being closed, the YCP govt proposes to accommodate the students in nearby schools in the middle of a year? Does this not disrupt their entire academic year & their overall learning?
6 ) If govt wants to really help the aided schools and teachers, is it only possible by taking over them? Has the govt run out of better and efficient options or does the govt have ulterior motives? YCP govt needs to clarify!
5) Why the YCP Govt is in hurry to merge/takeover aided institutions? When the students are in the middle of an academic year, what is the rationale for the govt to come up with this untimely unwise policy? This YCP govt is punishing Students with its bad decisions.
4) How many of these Aided Schools have “functional” School Management Committees? Has the SMCs discussed this issue in their Meeting? If there is no SMC how can this process remain valid? Is this not violating RTE norms?
3) The YCP Govt forgot the most important stakeholder in educational institutions - Students. The students are completely ignored in this process while their future is affected the most. Why is this YCP Govt insensitive to Students and jeopardizing their future?
2) This Policy affects 2200 private aided schools with 2 lakh students & 6700 teachers, 182 aided junior colleges with nearly 71,000 students & 116 aided degree colleges with nearly 2.5 lakh students. Along with students & staff, their families are also affected.

1) YCP Govt on 12th November, 2021 issued a Circular Memo No 1072635/CE/A1/2020 which provided a policy (4 options) for facilitating the surrender of willing aided private educational institutions.
