"Stop prompting your agents. Design the loops that prompt them for you."
With that one thought, Peter Steinberger got the whole industry talking about a concept they ended up naming "loop engineering." My honest reaction was déjà vu: at its core, it's automation as old as time. The only new thing is the box in the middle — where there used to be an `if`, now there's a model that reasons, tries, and retries.
But after years building these kinds of systems, one thing is clear to me: writing the loop is the easy part. The hard part is everything that keeps it from repeating a mistake with full confidence — feedback it can actually trust, sensible stopping conditions, and a clear plan to reconcile against.

I published a blog post about how our team at @Dailybot is now part human and part agent. Deep Work Plan is the Spec-Driven Development methodology that enables us to create complex, structured plans that agents can execute reliably over long time horizons.

We're live on @ProductHunt today 🚀
Deep Work Plan keeps coding agents from drifting on long tasks. The plan lives in your repo, so an agent can run for hours, resume after a reset, and you can verify what it actually did.

AI agents already have payment cards, wallets, email, and even their own social networks. The economy is transforming — but not how I imagined.
