@tokyoslumbers Misdiagnosing me with Drug-induced psychosis and stopping my ADHD medication, therefore ruining my chances of ever getting an education and going back to work.
@ProfDavidNutt Around 2 years ago I was misdiagnosed with drug-induced psychosis. This resulted in my medication Xiggitin (methylphenidate hydrochloride) being stopped and I was told that I can never be treated with stimulant medication ever again. 1 of 3
When I was given the drug-induced psychosis diagnosis it was also added on to a police information file. I could also use a bit of help finding out what to do about that. This has basically stripped me of any future so any advice would be great! Thanks. #ADHD#psychology
#adhdtwitter is trending.
This meme really resonates with me!
It's one of the reasons I don't enjoy talking to people in rl.
...It gets uncomfortable 😔
Humanities friends, stop using Google Maps screenshots in your presentations! Thanks to Technology™ it's easy and free to make maps from scratch that look professional (or at least professional enough), even with my level of extremely limited technical skills. A tutorial thread!
Time for this regular reminder: if you have persisting "untreatable" anxiety/depression, consider exploring and ruling in/out a #neurodivergent condition that you weren't aware of, such as #ADHD or #Autism.
I am so jealous of anyone who lives close to swimmable water at the moment. All I want to do, every day, is swim but disability keeps it from me. The lochs are calling and I'm stuck inside 🙁🫠
Why are spaces designed for disabled people often so ugly? I need a shower put into my house and what I have been shown looks like it belongs in a hospital. The local authority has one standard "disabled" shower room, it will likely suit no one. This is not good enough!
