@itsstephtoms Yeah I’ve found one gp at my surgery who really listens to me but it’s a nightmare getting an appointment with her. Both the other docs who gave me my diagnoses for adhd and PCOS basically said “you have adhd/pcos here’s some pills good luck!” And that was it 😒

@itsstephtoms And like don’t get me wrong, we’re hella lucky to have the NHS… it’s just not very good, especially when it comes to women’s reproductive health and mental health… 👀

@itsstephtoms Same here as well! And then just to be told oh sorry we got it wrong, you didn’t need antidepressants, you had ADHD all along 😂😂 feels like the NHS has screwed us over in every damn way possible!

@itsstephtoms Yep 100% if I could go back to bad cramps and heavy bleeding it would be so much better than all the other symptoms 😔 and the worst part is that whenever a girl goes to the docs with bad periods to avoid doing anything helpful they stick you on the pill and leave you to it 😒

@itsstephtoms I was told by my psychiatrist a few weeks ago apparently there’s a national shortage of adhd meds all over the uk that won’t be sorted until about March 😡 I’ve not had too much bother getting mine yet but feel so sorry for people who haven’t been as lucky… 💔
