@majornelson@RabbitWithAxe Items in the under-seat compartment appear to be references. Diamond probably Feathers' loot, yarn ball a Close Shave reference, not sure about Tiles box though. Reminds me of the box with extra track pieces from the train chase, but surely that would say Tracks. ๐คท
@IanHigton Only played demos of some of them (See: what Australian videogame imports were like in the 80s/90s), but I heartily endorse this event or product.
Wouldnโt it be SO CRAZY if we were back with ONE MORE console giveaway? An Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition Console and two more Cipher Series Elite controllers?!? ๐ฑ
Guess you better enter by following us and resharing this post!

@IanHigton Record and upload unedited run(s) as proof? (I'm playing it on Xbox, and am not a streamer, so the 3min time limit my record function is limited to makes that a bit difficult for me usually. But I totally one-shot the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, I swear!)
@majornelson@Windows Though it might have been nice if Microsoft had made it opt-in, displayed a pop-up, or something. I only realized yesterday why my keyboard mysteriously changed colour and brightness, and had to go digging through settings to on two USB-switched PCs to fix it.
Sean Bean is back again for 2024 in Hitman: World Of Assassination, so I figured why not do another @MikeChannell-style kill in a @Farrantula-like way?
Completed Hitman 2's first elusive target (The Undying) with an explosive kill AND a Silent Assassin rating just for you @MikeChannell and @Farrantula.
@ctBoxter@dark1x@allenradar Not every game is a perfect fit unfortunately. See when they tried to release Hitman (2016), and all the missing LAN modes. Publishers need to support up-front or subsequent re-engineering to make true DRM/online free versions, not borked ones.
@dark1x@allenradar Hope for license transition? Streaming probably, but maybe 1st-party PC versions (with 3rd parties welcome)? Microsoft probably PC port back-compat emulation if Xbox retired, but up to license-holders re: games. Sony unlikely to transition, but 1st-party GOG releases at least. ๐คท
@dark1x@allenradar RE: wanting more thought about digital, precedent is important. If Microsoft refunded before, should be expected to again. Microsoft refunds? Sony should meet same standard. (Pretty sure Sony owns Crunchyroll?) Sorry, I think character limit is preventing coherenence.
@dark1x@allenradar Bookstore shut, they refunded everything.

Music store shut, they didn't, but you could download tracks before shutdown, and still use 'em after.
I don't foresee it being relevant to Xbox anytime soon, but it's a precedent that no one else has set.
@dark1x Was playing Alan Wake 2 on PC, having never played a game via Epic Store before. Biggest jump scare (slash massive weird tonal shift) was the big achievement popup and super cheery sound effect every time I completed a chapter.
@wraithcadmus@dark1x My family acquired a whopping 40MB HDD, second-hand... but lost the pre-installed (Pre-Quest For Glory) Hero's Quest and Mega-Lo-Mania when it needed repairs. Honestly, I don't think we'd have known how to install anything ourselves. ๐ข
@wraithcadmus@dark1x I was going to say The Secret Of Monkey Island 2 for the Amiga, at 12 disks. Only ever played a demo of B.A.S.S, so didn't know it had that many. ๐ฏ
@IanHigton I also nabbed a reissue set a few years back, but had somehow blocked out how much of my childhood I must have spent applying stickers to Transformers. So many, many tiny stickers to get lined up correctly. ๐ฅ
@dark1x@NFern0 In theory I would be fine with it, but per Zoe's notes on leveling resulting in LESS damage output (ie. Requiring you to min/max abilities and gear, lest you get screwed), I'm less than thrilled...

@dark1x I played all of the betas to their limits (or thereabouts), but then life got in the way. I've managed level 34 or thereabouts so far. I would prefer it if they didn't limit you to 20 side quests. It sucks.
