After a lifetime of public service Justin Trudeau has stepped aside as both Leader of the Liberal Party and Prime Minister of Canada. I want to thank him as a Canadian for his service to the country that he so clearly loves. I wish him and his family well.

This isn’t acceptable either. Both sides need to de-escalate. We now have an injured @PeelPolice officer in the midst of trying to keep the peace at multiple protests in both Mississauga and Brampton last night. This is yet another example of why I want to see a municipal by law urgently passed to prohibit protests at places of worship. The pro India and pro Khalistan sides who think it is appropriate to protest at a place of worship are completely wrong. This must stop.
