We always knew this was an unviable project. Our clans have always been clear this project will not be completed. now is the time to speak the only language these cooperations know and hit them where it hurts.
Plz stop sharing hatred & vitriol of trolls on social media. Yes we can be disgusted when it shows up in r feeds but WORST thing u can do is share, retweet or forward it. Why give ppl w/ no followers ALL of ur followers & help spread thr racism? Lift up voices of our ppl instead.
Fuck the GLOBE and Mail!! This is how headlines are if you a white guy in Canada. Look at the headline for a 15 year old victim who was brutally murdered and raped. Now look at the headline used for a terrorist cop killer #cdnpress#cdnpoli
I also think it's funny how quickly media have been to vilify Indigenous peoples this month (and forever). Like bro, people just want clean drinking water and there's so many comments about killing indigenous peoples by running them over.
I'm trained in law.
There is no 'rule of law'. There are overlapping bodies of law. Laws are constantly changing. People with power ink laws. Resistance helps change unjust laws. Indigenous blockades are also legal orders.

I wrote about #Indigenous youth who are taking their lives.
I wrote about it because I don’t think it’s getting better.
I wrote about it because I think that if you know about it, I hope, you’ll care too.

Non-band residents of the Semiahmoo First Nation will have to pay at least $50,000 to connect to the community's upcoming clean water line. The project received $10 million in federal funding, but that won't cover the 36 non-band residents. Those who don't pay must leave.
